Bath and Body Works lotions are a great back up for me. They are decently moisturizing and I like the scents but, it is not great. I love Philosophy lotions more so I keep the Bath and Body as a back up.

I am 37 and use the entire Proactiv line. The Refining Mask is super stinky but effective as both a mask and spot treatment. This keeps my pores clean and helps to bring out any hidden acne lurking around. I have found Origins Charcoal Mask, and it works just as well without the stink!

As a 37 year old, I STILL have acne! I have been using the Proactiv 3 step system for 3 or 4 years. The Repairing Lotion is part of a system that has worked for me. I have found that consistency is key with any acne system. If you use the system everyday, you will see a difference. If you are not consistent, you will not see results. There is no cure for acne, only ways to treat it. Remember, acne has a 2 week cycle and you will probably break out more at first. Give it time and you should see results. This lotion does stain, so be careful!

I do love the Bare Minerals eye shadows. They blend beautifully, are highly pigmented, and come in array of gorgeous colors. The problem? They are very messy. I look forward to trying the new Bare Minerals eye shadow compacts! Hopefully you get the same good properties of the original shadows without the mess. We'll see...

I tried the Benefit Benetint and did not like it all. I used the 3 stripe application for the cheeks and it just did not blend well. As far as being a lip stain, this did not work. Save your money!

I had high hopes for the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips and I was totally let down. The strip did not pull out any blackheads, but it did rip off peach fuzz and maybe a layer or 2 of skin. Not for me.

The Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover works OK but, I prefer Mary Kay's Oil Free eye makeup remover or Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. They are more effective and less irritating to my eyes.

I do like the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion set. This particular step, refine, does a great job of exfoliating and leaves a radiance to your skin. I have found that Philosophy's Micro-Delivery Exfoliating Wash works just as well and it is far more affordable!

Mac lipsticks are amazingly creamy and are pretty long lasting. Mac lipsticks don't feel cakey and they taste OK too!
