I personally don't get why you'd use ROC when you can get retin-a from your dr. for much cheaper (assuming you have good insurance!). If you don't have great insurance, then I can understand, and I do think ROC products work well for anti-aging. However, if you can afford to just get Retin-A from your dermatologist, you will have much more dramatic results. I swear by Retin-A.

My husband gets really bad in-growns on his face sometimes, so he uses these to get the hair out of there and heal the in-grown. They work really well because of the very fine/sharp point. Just be careful not to drop these or leave them in places where children could get at them. They are very sharp and hurt if dropped (on my foot!), and could poke and eye out, literally.

What's not to like about q-tips!? They work great for removing mascara or powder that is under my eye after application with a dab of water and I use them to clean my ears and my son's ears. They also work great for nail polish touch-ups. I have to admit that i generally buy the generic brand, as I don't think there is anything extra special about q-tip brand vs. generic, but I definitely use a cotton swab every day:)

I love Aveda's travel line because its perfect when I need to, well, travel! I'm a huge fan of the rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner for the smell and overall leaving my hair feeling very clean and moisturized. I also very much like the foot and hand care because they are very hydrating. I really love all Aveda products, but the prices are high for what you get, in my opinion. I still use a few of their products regularly, but I would use all of them if they weren't quite so expensive.

I've really loved all of my eco brushes! They are very high quality and last a long time, especially given the low price point. I have had no complaints with these brushes whatsoever. The products always go on smoothly and the brushes haven't broken at all, no stray bristles! I highly recommend any of their brushes.

OPI is one of the few go-to brands for nail polish that I always turn to. I really like their saturated colors and they always have staying power. I just bought a new bottle last night in a deep red color with subtle sparkles and I can't wait to try it! OPI is always a winner in my opinion and is the go-to-choice when I get pedicures at nail salons.

I generally don't use powder blush, but I do like NARS version if you find the right color for you. I do like that they offer a lot of different colors to suit a lot of skin colors. The blush goes on well and has just the right amount of pigment, assuming you use the right type of brush. I tried applying it with a cotton ball one time and that was a big mistake----you can't control the amount of pigment with a cottton ball, so I ended up with clown cheeks! But that only speaks to the good pigment in the NARS blushes. You can layer it on for a more dramatic look.

I am obsessed with Urban Decay Eyeliners. I own close to 10 different colors. They glide on so easily but stay put all day. A lot of their colors have subtle shimmer/glitter in them, which I think is just a fun addition to your standard eyeliner. i can't say enough how much I like them and they last a long time, at least a year when I am alternating 2-3 different pencils. Right now, I'm alternating between their brown, black and purple colors on different days. I love them all!

These remind me of being a teenager. I collected so many different flavors back then. I always loved the ones with shimmer in them and they were a great introduction to real lip colors. They were always moisturizing and smelled really great. Plus, you can't go wrong for the price.

I love love love this curler! I wanted it so badly after using my friend's, that I searched for it when I was in Canada, because they weren't selling it in America at the time. It works so well! I've already had mine for close to two years and I can't say enough how awesome it is. My eyelashes are stick-straight, although fairly long, but without curling them, my eyelashes just look terrible. I curl them everyday and then apply mascara. This curler just works so well, is high quality and doesn't require a lot of time to get a great curl. I love it so much, highly recommend.
