I have darker brown hair, so this product works well when I've done lighter highlights. It doesn't do anything for my natural color, but if I have lighter color in my hair, it will rev up the lightness a bit, in a subtle way. This would probably work much better on a blonde than brunette. Its fairly expensive, so I only bought this once and since my hair is darker, I won't be buying it again unless I go blonde.

This version holds a lipstick, but I don't really use lipstick, so I prefer the Professional version.

I really like this compact because it can hold all of your different aveda makeups and keeps everything organized and neat. I used it for eyeshadows, specifically. The case uses a magnet at the bottom to hold in all of the items. I also like that it is made of recycled material, which is nice. It seems more economical to buy one compact and then just buy the individual makeups to put inside of it. I also think the metal container is very chic.

I really love the style-prep product "Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener". I find that it gets my hair nice and straight and smooth. When I used this shampoo along with the glossing straightener, I didn't see a dramatic difference, so that is why I suggest just using the style prep product and skip the shampoo and conditioner. You just don't need all three.

I don't love hairspray, but some of my stylists have used this on me in the past, and it definitely has a strong hold. If I were interested in a hair-sprayed look, or needed to hold in an up-do, I would use this hairspray.

This is $29 for 4 oz. For me, that is just too costly for a moisturizing product. I've had as much success using the CLEAR brand conditioning mask, which is like $5! I do think this product is effective at moisturizing, but not significantly enough to justify the cost.

This product definitely delivers subtle color to my hair and makes it darker. It is a great thing to use between coloring or to cover up highlights in a subtle way. I can use this just once in awhile between colorings, so it goes a long way.

I didn't see a major change in my hair when I used the damage remedy line of products. I personally find it to be too expensive without seeing a major improvement in texture. Its $27 for 6 oz!

I adore this shampoo and conditioner pair! I have very fine/thin hair and when I use their volumizing shampoo and conditioner, I see major lift and fullness in my hair. My general issue with Aveda products is the cost. I just can't bring myself to paying so much for such a small bottle of shampoo. I really love the product, I just wish their prices were a bit more reasonable for my budget. If you can afford it or if you hair is super flat, I highly suggest this product!

Let's just say the travel size is $9! The full size is over $20. Its just too expensive for me to buy for every day use. I really like how rich and thick this lotion is, but its just too expensive. I can get a similar drug store version for less than half of this price, so its just not worth the cost to me.
