Maybelline New York Shine Free Oil Control Translucent Pressed Powder
I've been using it for 10 years and I'm only 26
I doubt I'll ever buy another shine-control powder as long as this one's being manufactured. I have dropped about 100 compacts, shattering them and their powder inside, ruining the lining inside my purses - so yes, the packaging could be more shatter-proof, but this is the best shine-control powder out there for the money, in my opinion. I have combination normal-to-oily skin, and I never go anywhere without this powder...it works.

These little chapsticks are a great deal, til you find out they hardly moisturize your lips. Sure, they taste great, and if you're swiping it on right before you kiss someone, it's nice, but they don't moisturize nearly enough. Regular green-tube Blistex is what I'm sticking with.

It definitely does nothing to moisturize my lips. I stick with Blistex. This lip "gloss" may taste alright, but the fact that it's a pot and you have to stick your finger is in a turn-off for me (P.S. I didn't buy this for myself...it was in my Christmas stocking). There are better products out there for the money.

I have really pale combination skin, and I like a foundation that 1) stays on all day and 2) is easy to apply. This one is the easiest foundation, ever, to apply. It goes on like butter (though that would be disgusting). I mix it with an Almay foundation to achieve the right color and consistency. I just dip my foundation brush into both bottles and mix it right on my face so none gets wasted. I believe they have discontinued this product though, so I'll have to find something else!

1) You can't beat the price...it's normally less than $4. 2) I use it every day on my thin, flat, lifeless hair and I notice a huge difference when I don't use it. 3) It seems to last all day for me. 4) I've tried every mousse out there, I swear. Pantene's mousses flake in my hair. The more expensive salon ones work the same as this one, so why pay more?

I really do swear by this stuff...yes, it probably is drying, but I use it in combination with a smoothing creme, or a shine lotion so my hair stays moisturized. I really notice a difference in the texture of my hair when I don't use this product. I always have extra laying around in case I run out....definitely one of my go-to products.

Okay, so you have to use a mousse or a thickening product alongside this lotion if you've got thin, flat hair like me. But I'm used to using 3 products at a time on my hair before blow-drying. Yesterday, I was feeling like my hair was dry, lifeless, and dull, so today I decided to pull out my Rusk Str8. I feel like a new woman, as lame as that sounds. My hair is so shiny and soft, not stringy or greasy at all. I forget how much I love this product...I've had it for YEARS and it's still good! You can definitely leave this in your hair product stash for awhile...using it every now and then, or frankly, every day. I probably should be!

I purchased this product because I got excellent reviews on a drugstore website, and because it was the cheapest foot cream they had. It is creamy, non-greasy, and while it hasn't made my feet miraculously soft, it has done a lot better than the other foot creams on the market. It was well worth my $4. I did seem to blow through it faster than other creams...probably because I liked it so much!

This mascara, when worn right, makes you look like you have fake lashes. It's easy to remove as well. It's easy to apply with the plastic bristle brush...definitely a step up from the old mascara wands. I always have extra tubes of this on-hand around my apartment. Great product and well worth the money! A tube lasts for quite awhile!

This stuff feels a bit heavy when you're first applying it, but it works wonders. It really moisturizes your skin. I use it in the summer on select spots on my face that are constantly dry, and I use it all winter long. Smells good, moisturizes, all natural, and affordable. What else do you want in a night cream?
