I never used to use primer--it ended up feeling heavy and sticky or making no difference at all. I LOVE this one! I love the silky feeling on my fingers as I apply it to my face, which then also feels silky, and never "masked." AND it's natural! What's not to love?

Nature's Gate Grapefruit & Wild Ginger Fortifying Shampoo for Fragile, Delicate Hair
If you like the smell of baby aspirin..
...then you will love this shampoo. I love the Nature's Gate line, but this really does smell like some cross between baby aspirin and circus peanuts candy. I vote for trying their other fragrances because they are environmentally friendly and great quality.

I am a nailpolish maniac, and OPI is my brand of choice. In the past 3 years, this company has also taken great strides toward reducing toxic chemicals in its product. Alas, Nail Envy is not one of the safer ones. It uses some truly dangerous chemicals, not just for the women who wear it, but also for the manicurists who work with it every day. Please join the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics in urging OPI to clean up its act, for everyone's health.

Maybe it's because my baby-fine hair is quite short, but I love this volumizer. It doesn't feel sticky or weigh my hair down. It works to keep my hair as fluffy as it can ever get. I agree that the scent differs from bottle to hair, but I don't dislike either smell. I think it is worth the cost.

I have combination skin, and need different skincare in the summer and winters in Chicago. This is my favorite summer moisturizer because it is light enough for the oily T zone, and doesn't break out the drier parts. In the winter, however, I need a creamier, heavier moisturizer. In general, H2O+ is a great skincare line for us combo skin people....

I used this perfume about 20 years ago, and recently smelled it again in a dept. store. I remembered how much I loved it, and bought the EDT and lotion. Now that I'm wearing it, I find it doesn't smell like it used to (more fruity?) and that it wears off quickly. I am guessing that there must be some new chemicals in it, or a manufactured ingredient that used to be natural. A whiff from the bottle still makes me smile, but I won't buy it again.

These shimmery shadows are not only gorgeous on, but they last forever! I have a seemingly endless pot of the pink that works as a highlighter as well as an eyeshadow.

I have used almost every mascara ever invented, and although Diorshow is a fave, I can buy three of these Great Lash tubes for every one of the Dior. I have that perhaps it works for me because my eyelashes are naturally dark and long--this mascara merely accentuates that. It is 100 times silkier and less likely to clump than many others. Another inexpensive good fallback is Mary Kay mascara.

Not only does it smell great--exactly like honey--but it smooths lips and lasts for a long time. And you can feel just a tad self-righteous about being ecofriendly when using it.
