Tried using it for about 2 months, it made me break out HORRIBLY (now I know this is expected but it didn't seem like the breakouts were improving), and I had to scrap it. My skin reacts much much better to AHAs and glycolic, looks perfect. This stuff, sadly disappointing.

I love Prescriptives as a line, and was really excited when I found out they were coming out with a mineral line. I've tried BE before, and never found a color that genuinely fit my skin. With the aid of a really attentive rep at their counter, I found my *perfect* color! This powder provides excellent, buildable coverage, blends perfectly, never shows up ashy on my olive skin, doesn't come off as "shiny" as BE coverage, and feels really soft and silky on the face. Plus all the wonderful benefits of mineral makeup - nothing harsh to irritate skin, will never "melt" off the face, and doesn't smear off onto clothing. Very generous portion, I've been using mine for months daily and I still have months to go. Lovely!

Terrific mascara, does what it promises. I have Asian and therefore have Asian lashes, meaning I'm cursed with the straight and short. This lengthens them, not to the length of falsies, but lengthens them pretty amazingly. This mascara NEVER clumps, and you will NEVER get raccoon eyes even if you sweat like a man, get thrown into a pool, get caught in a storm, etc. It's so easy to remove at the end of the day too! For more dramatic effects, I'd use something else but this is perfect for a natural look everyday. Cons are that it doesn't curl.

Not exactly sure why this product has received so many negative reviews. Yes, there might be better products out there, but this one has a good enough cocktail of AHAs and antioxidants to be effective. I am a notorious skincare switcher, but during a particularly bad breakout period it made my skin like new - reduced acne scars, stopped problem areas from worsening, etc. Stings a bit upon application, but it felt cool since I put mine in the fridge. I suppose a big con is the packaging - you have to make sure your hands are CLEAN before dipping your fingers in, or it may compromise the quality of the product.

PROS: Wonderful addition to the Cover FX Cream foundation! Makes foundation last and last, actually makes the thick cream possible to blend, keeps the foundation on and makes your skin super silky and smooth. I adore this stuff. MUCH better than Smashbox, and best of all it contains actual nutrients and smooths out wrinkles. Love it! CONS: Expensive. Why does the product description say discontinued? It's still being sold in all the Sephora stores that carry Cover FX.

Just a background: I have oily, acne-scarred skin. I've been taking better care of it, drinking plenty of water, so I rarely have breakouts, but the discoloration is still definitely visible. I was searching for the best foundation that would look natural on me and cover everything up, but it has been so hard to find something that 1) will stay on my face, 2) look natural but cover everything, 3) won't break me out. This is definitely THE foundation for me!!! I absolutely love almost everything about the Cover FX brand, since its problem-skin suited. At first I bought it alone, despite the Sephora rep pushing the primer and the setting powder on me. Mistake. It is very very creamy and almost impossible to blend on its own. I rushed back to Sephora and bought the primer - voila. PERFECT. So easy to blend, and covers every single spot! It's almost like I have naturally perfect skin. Ladies, try this! You will not regret it! PROS: Covers everything, a zillion shades so one will definitely match you, looks very natural, stays ON your face, will not break you out! CONS: Sort of expensive although I will pay good money for perfect-looking skin, and I cannot stress this enough but it NEEDS to be used with the primer serum or else it's impossible to put on and blend. TIP: For the setting powder, I used Bare Escentuals mineral veil since it works just as well as the Cover FX setting powder, and it's much cheaper too!

Smells so clean and I don't know about the effects of the oxygen, but I love how it feels on my face and how creams I put on after it soak in so well. Love it.

Although it looks like a concealer stick, it is a light to medium foundation - it doesn't provide heavy coverage. If you have minor imperfections though, it covers and it blends very well. It gets slightly greasy towards the end of the day, but nothing powder can't correct!

Prescriptives Immediate Glow Skin Conditioning Tonic For Normal/Drier Skin
Important primer step in my routine
Removes any lingering traces of make-up, gives you a glow, and primes your skin for your moisturizer. Smells DELICIOUS too!

I do not have much to cover up, but I do need help making my skin look even without making it oily. I tried this on a whim on a visit to Sephora, and Sun Empress is PERFECT for my olive skin! Somehow, this foundation does everything I want it to - fills in pores, smooths fine lines, evens out tone, creates this believable no make-up finish but with this dewy glow to it. My dad who NEVER comments on my make-up (he's a dad for crying out loud), noticed and asked me what I did differently because my skin looked flawless, and he couldn't detect any make-up! I recommended it to my mom as well who does not have perfect skin - she has dry skin and noticeable pores. She put it on and her pores disappeared, it moisturized her skin, and she had this glow to her - now she's hooked as well! Try this, you will look amazing. Get ready for the compliments. Thank you, fresh!
