  • Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45

This works better than the pricier ones my derm made me buy!

Let me tell you, my skin is screwed up from eons of sun worship. All I can do is try to backtrack and protect. THis one smells decent, protects from both kinds of rays (the burning kind and the aging kind), and best of all -- because it's why I keep using it -- it feels good going on and absorbs enough so that I can put my makeup on. You just have to wait about three minutes before wearing makeup, although I even put it on AFTER makeup because it works to absorb oil and even improves the look after makeup! I am almost out and about to go get some more now...it's also not way too expensive, which is good because I am so broke.

  • Benefit Dandelion

    Benefit Dandelion

    A blush addict

Benefit blushes are as good if not better than that braggart Nars. Dandelion (and the Georgia Peach) go on smoothly and feel like supreme quality. They look extremely natural and sexy, like you just went running, and so soft and pretty. You can use it on your eyelids too. I like to use it right on the apple and then put a bronzer along with it. Everyone kept saying Nars was the best but this one is better

  • Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine
    7.0

Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Step 1: Refine

Great stuff and I need some more

I try so many products and I know I don't want to overdo it, but this one (a gift from a friend) was very effective and making my skin look clearer, at least for a while. I used it in the shower for less strength, or even on dry for more, but for those with sensitive skin, I suggest more water. I also did skip the second step, the Timepiece, and replaced it with other things....so who knows, maybe it would have worked even better. I will be buying this (unless I get a gift again!)

  • Banana Boat Summer Color Self-Tanning Lotion
    3.0

Banana Boat Summer Color Self-Tanning Lotion

It was alll fun and games and beautiful skin until.....

At first this goes on great -- one of the best colors for the buck that I have seen in a while. A nice dark golden sheen. However, after a few days, I noticed what looked like a horrifying skin disease -- apparently, it does not come off evenly? or perhaps I should have exfoliated more in some spots? So I have quit using it and gone back to ole Whitey.

  • Obagi Nu-Derm Sunfader SPF 15
    3.0

    Obagi Nu-Derm Sunfader SPF 15

Use the Blender with hydroquinone and your own STRONGER sunscreen

This would be a far better product if it had a higher SPF. Why use such wonderful products from Obagi -- which are AWESOME -- if you are then going to ruin all the hard work by allowing the sun to destroy your face and give you back those spots? I say skip this one but get the rest of the line -- the Retin-A, the Blender, the Exfoderm, and definitely some kind of Vitamin -C (like skinceuticals C and E Ferrulic.) Because we all simply need an SPF of 30.

  • Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home Microdermabrasion System
    6.0

Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home Microdermabrasion System

Not like the doc's officed, but you get what you pay for -- maybe even better

I have tried all the other similarly priced otc stuff from drugstores, and generally speaking, Neutrogena tends to be slightly better. This product was no different. However, let me give a tip: just buy the good abrading particles and skip the stupid tool, because it's no different than a toothbrush that vibrates -- which is how I have always applied these type products! Might look weird to my boyfriend to be toothbrushing my face, but I get compliments on my skin pretty often.

  • Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Mosaic Bronzer
    3.0

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Mosaic Bronzer

If you're a model, sure, buy this and llook fantastic. Otherwise, there are far less expensive versions that work better.

My problem with Victoria's Secret makeup is that it simply is not as good as most other makeups. The colors are not as good nor is the quality. This bronzer was no different. It looked like the cheapest possible version of this type bronzer, so it certainly was not worth the money. You would need the best quality brush to make it look good, and a professional makeup artist to apply it, so forget it.
