I have been using the loose powder form of bare minerals foundation for some time but wanted something with more coverage. This ready foundation has better coverage than the loose powder. On the negative side, this pressed powder starts out looking natural but after a few hours tends to settle in fine lines. I don't care for the cakiness.

I really like this product. I have areas of slight redness on my forehead, chin, and broken capillaries around my nose. I apply this powder with a small foundation brush (over my bare minerals foundation) just in the areas of redness (then blend). The redness does dissapear. The yellowness of the powder does not show up on my skin. I just look like I have clear luminess skin. I looked at a photo of myself taken recently (I had applied this makeup that day) and was really suprised at how even my skin tone looked. I'm glad I made the purchase!

I have used translucent powders in the past to finish up a look after applying foundation...this is the worst I have tried so far. It dried out my skin and emphasised fine lines (fine lines that I didn't even reqalize that I had prior to using this makeup). Wish I had not purchased.

Many dermatologist and even ob/gyns will tell you that your tendency to get stretch marks during pregnancy has less to do with having under-moisturized skin but rather your genetic predisposition. If your mother got significant stretch marks during pregnancy, chances are you will too. That being said, how you treat your skin during and after your pregnancy will definitely affect your skin’s final appearance. This product really did appear to diminish the redness of the few stretch marks I obtained during pregnancy. This product is very moisturizing and so natural (which is a major bonus for both pregnant women and new mothers)!

I love mineral make-up and was looking for a cheaper alternative to my current make-up. The pros: the foundation matched my skin tone nicely and was quite affordable. The cons: The foundation coverage in much too sheer. The finish fades after a few hours. The attached brush releases very little makeup (I like to have more control in the application process than the brush allows)

The Mary Kay lipsticks that I have tried have not had any flavoring or obvious scent attached to them (which I find to be quite a bonus!) I found the formula non-drying and long lasting. With most lipsticks that I have tried, I have had to reapply every few hours. With the MK brand, I only reapply after I eat lunch... and am then good to go for the rest of my day at work. The colors are flattering and look amazing with MK lipglosses.

This mascara was a horrible waste of money. Upon getting the product home from the store, I opened the tube and the product was so dry I could hardly get it to adhere to my lashes. I actually saw mascara flakes right on the wand brush upon taking it out of the tube. I had to actually add water to the tube to get the mascara formula moist enough to apply. Perhaps the store was carrying an expired supply. Once I added water however, the product did work reasonably well.

Looks pretty on and the pigments are rich but the formula is thick and heavy. Feels like I am wearing syrup on my lips.

After hearing the buzz about sodium lauryl sulfate and how it strips and damages hair, I though that I would give this product a try. I wanted to like it, but after each wash my fine hair felt like it had a lackluster residue on it. My hair was then harder to style and lacked bounce and shine.
