ModelCo FluidSplash 3 in 1 Foundation

Model Co's Fluidsplash is Aussie Perfection

The best feature of this foundation is the concealer found in the cap, one of the best I have ever tried! Yes, the $42 price tag is high, but not if you are considering that you are getting a fab moisturizing foundation, concealer and sunscreen. This foundation is very sheer, water based and looks and feels incredibly natural and light on your face. If you love tinted moisturizers, you must really try this! I don't give out the 10 star rating often, and could possibly see giving it nine stars due to its price and some availability issues. I have a growing list of favorite foundations and one top contender would have to be Model Co's Fluidsplash 3 in 1! Highly recommended.

NP Set Show Loose Dust Duo

    Compelling, but too expensive

NP Set's Show Loose Dust Duos. I was instantly drawn to their Russia Silver and Gray duo, and ended up buying it. When at home, I found that the wand applicators were difficult to control with an optimum amount of product and placement; a cosmetic eye brush would have worked much better. As a word of warning, be careful how you open the container or you might spill a large amount of your powder. I found that this loose eye shadow lighter shade powder goes on in a true silver sparkle, and I love the darker purplish-deeper gray shade. I found myself a bit disappointed by this eye shadow's staying power and weird applicator method, and the price ($26) seemed too steep.

  • Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminee Energizing Fluid

I discovered the Caudalie line a year ago and cannot say enough how much I love their skincare line. The Caudalie line smells fantastic with simple and natural grape goodness. I combined using the Energizing Fluid after using their Vinexpert Firming Serum. And while you are at it, try their Beauty Elixir as well. Great for sensitive skin!

  • Prescriptives Flawless Skin Total Protection Makeup SPF 15

I really love this foundation because it matches my skintone perfectly and looks and feels very natural on my skin. It offers just the right amount of coverage. This is also very good for sensitive skin types. Highly recommended.

    Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

    Not my favorite eyeliner

I purchased this liner in Sepia and found the color and consistency to be good, but the pot dried up quickly and the price was high. I have found several private label companies like LooseLipsNY and Aromaleigh carry an Indelible Gel Eyeliner that performs better for a much better price. Sorry Bobbi.

  • Cosmedicine Healthy Cleanse Foaming Cleanser and Toner in One

I found the Healthy Cleanse Foaming cleanser to be an effective and gentle facial cleanser. My two caveats are that even though it successfully removes eye makeup, it also slightly irritated and bothered my eyes. I also think $35 is too much to pay for a cleanser, even it can be used as your toner and eye makeup remover.

I would have to agree that this is a wonderfully soothing and moisturizing eye and lip creme. Great product!

  • Becca Glossy Lip Tint

    Becca Glossy Lip Tint

Becca's Glossy Lip Tint in Cherrybomb

For those who are feeling timid about wearing red lipstick, but are still craving the "little red corvette" color to your lip palette, Beccas sheer bright red in Cherrybomb lip gloss is a great alternative. Becca's gloss adds a bright, pure shade of red to my lips and lots of long lasting shine, and I don't feel like this gloss screams to everyone, "Hey look, I am wearing my Mom's red lipstick!" I also love that this formula feels as good as it looks isn't sticky on your lips. I hate the feeling of opening my mouth and having my lips tug open. Becca's Glossy Lip Tint really lives up to it's claim: "The most comfortable gloss you will ever wear." I'm giving this product a "9" simply because of its price, $23 is a little steep for even a fabulous lip gloss.

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Tarte's Smooth Operator Foundation SPF 20

I have been searching for a foundation like this my entire life and I have tried several. My main objectives: natural looking coverage without the cakiness/deposits some foundations can have, applies smoothly without too much work, & won't cause breakouts. My most crucial question: Can it live up to the lighted magnification mirror test? It is true, I am a bit obsessed with my skin, but I notice so many ladies with horrible foundation, and then ask myself the question, "Am I one of THEM?" With this foundation and a superb primer, I can confidently respond, "Not me!" The SPF 20 is a bonus, love it, love it, love it!!!

    Lancome Color Fever Shine

Lancome's Color Fever Shine Lipstick: Pixel Pink

Lancomes newest shade launched for this spring, Pixel Pink. My feelings? This shade would look spectacular on someone with a tan or a darker shade. The formula is very sheer and moisturizing. It could also be a great shade for everyday, subtle and and very natural looking.
