I rarely buy the same beauty product twice, but this is a product I keep coming back to. The colors are great (some sparkly, some matte), it has wonderful staying power (my coworkers can't believe my makeup stays on all day!) and yet it comes off fairly easily with makeup remover. For a slightly cheaper alternative, L'Oreal HIP gel liners are good. And I've heard Smashbox has a liner that stays put, but I haven't tried it.

I am usually a total fan of luxury brands for skincare, face makeup, etc. But I absolutely love drugstore brands for mascara, because they are nearly as good as the department store brands, but so much cheaper. This mascara is a lot like Dior Show (though the brush isn't quite as bushy). This mascara is definitely for girls who prefer volume over "separation" (the polymer brushes like LashExact are better for that). What I like to do is use Fantastic Lash for volume, and then layer it with L'Oreal Telescopic for length and definition. I know that using two mascaras sounds nuts...but the combo definitely makes my wimpy lashes a lot longer!

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Color Truth Cream Eyeliner
Great colors and wearability
I have the blue, teal and purple liners. The blue is by far my favorite: it is a very wearable shade of sapphire that really brightens my brown eyes. The blue is subtle enough to wear during the day(especially when layered with a black liner--if you're really into intensity). The teal is very bright and should probably be used sparingly, mixed with black, or for color accents. The brush that comes with the product is really bad. Instead, use a flat liner brush or a small, round bushy brush if you want a more smudged look.
