Doesn't straighten hair

I was extremely disappointed with this product. Normally Bed Head brand delivers, but this product failed! It claims to get your hair" straight as a board without a straightener" but this did absolutely nothing to make my long, wavy hair any straighter. I would apply this to damp hair, and nothing would change. On the plus side, it does smell delicious, but the smell doesn't carry out throughout the day, unfortunately.

I have had this product for quite a while now, and use it every now and then. Usually, I will use it after I curl my hair to create a more smooth, separated type look. This works so-so to smooth flyaways. When I use it, I apply a small amount to my fingertips, rub them together, and apply it where I need to. This smells amazing, but doesn't really do anything if put in your hair while wet.
