Even if you don't notice it happening, the harsh exfoliates in this scrub will damage your skin. The pieces are too sharp, and leave micro-scrapes on the skin. If you are trying to exfoliate your face, use a scrub with rounded exfoliates, and this won't happen. However, this scrub is amazing for feet and elbows and basically anywhere else that the skin is tougher.

I have combination skin, and most washes I have used in the past dried out my skin or made it flake. I read online to use a cream for this type of skin, and this is the one that did the trick! I always had breakouts right before my period, and now I don't!! This is gentle enough to use every day, and leaves a refreshing tingle without drying the skin.

I had so much faith that this would get rid of blackheads, because the theory just seemed right! Let's rip those suckers out of there! Unfortunately, it doesn't work in practice. There was literally nothing on the strip after I pulled it off and there was no improvement on the skin.

I've used just about every product on the market, and this face wash dried out my skin terribly. I switched to using it every third day but that wasn't enough to keep breakouts at bay. I have combination skin, so maybe this would be a good choice for someone who doesn't have problems with drying.

Proactiv had me thinking that I was literally just a few weeks away from clear skin when I was younger, so after begging my mother to buy it, I felt silly when there was no change in my skin at all. Maybe it works for some, so it may be worth trying, but my combination skin did not react at all.

I used to buy this when I was a teenager, buying into all the promises on the commercials. I gave this a 3 because anything lower seemed super harsh, but I did not notice irritation or any skin improvement. Might as well as not used anything at all.

I started dying my hair at home about 5 years ago, first various shades of auburn and then various shades of brown. I have naturally medium dark brown hair with very few red tones. For the past three years, I have been dying my hair light ash brown to combat the red dyes of the past, and I would say my roots are 2-3 shades darker than the brown dye I have been using. I like to lighten my hair because I am not all that tan, and the contrast with dark hair is a little too stark. This summer, I wanted to go lighter without going blonde, so I used Perfect 10 Butterscotch Boom-which is the dark blonde. The smell isn't terribly strong at all, but while putting it on my eyes stung a few times and my scalp itched a little. Totally worth it though!! My hair lightened up without getting brassy, and the color is very natural looking. It did not take very long to rinse out. If you have brown hair you are looking to brighten up, I would definitely recommend this product. The next day my hair didn't have that strong dye smell that many others leave.
