I gave this product to my boyfriend, who had very oily skin and was prone to mild acne. He says he loves how the lotion absorbed in his skin right away (unlike the Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer that left an oily film on his face). Throughout his use, he says that since he began using this lotion, his skin has been balanced (not too oily and not too dry). Two months after using this product, the redness and acne in his face cleared up. So awesome! This is highly recommended for people with oily skin. DRY AND COMBINATION SKIN people BEWARE! I tried this product myself (I have combo skin) and while it did absorb, it left my face too dry. If you need moisture in your skin, this may not be the right product for you.

This lip balm worked just like any other lip balm but it had a terrible smell. Even when I rubbed it off, the smell stayed. Not worth spending all. Stick to the other Nivea lip balms.

The best part of this cream is that even if it has SPF, it smells heavenly. It's also lightweight and it makes my skin feel smooth! My t-zone is prone to get very shiny but since I started using this product, my t-zone's been under control because the cream isn't oily at all anymore. This has made my skin look glowing, my complexion is clear, and the dry patches I had in some parts of my face? Gone! I highly recommend to everyone, particularly those with combination skin.

I have tried other face powders (MAC, Physician’s Formula, Bare Minerals, and so on…). However, I always found myself coming back to this simple powder. With or without foundation, it has never failed me. After I put on foundation, the powder blends in well with the color and reduces the shine. Without foundation (for days that I don’t want to put on make-up), it still takes away any facial discolorations I have (best results if you apply some moisturizer first to avoid any dryness). I highly recommend this product for any skin type! It reduces shine, redness, and works great with or without foundation.

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder
Best to reduce shine and redness, that is all.
Pros: The powder does what its description promises: It reduces any imperfections on my skin, it takes away any redness (especially conceals any red pimple marks I may have). Most importantly, it took away the shine and oiliness of my face and it not harsh on my sensitive skin at all. It’s best after applying liquid make-up (I personally just use a BB cream). Con: The powder left my face with a baby-powder like finish, which is chalky (if you know how that feels). It did not blend in my skin and it left a shade of white (this is where it breaks the promise of the “yellow” leaving a warm color to the skin); in other words. This was also not a good product during the winter when my skin was dry because it left flakes and patches on my skin. I highly recommend this for anyone with oily skin or for use during the summertime. But if you really want best results, it’s best to touch up with either a foundation or a BB cream of your own skin tone. Only use this for touch up on your make-up, reduce shine and redness but don’t rely on this product alone for any other problems.

I decided to try this product after seeing it made the top toners here on Total Beauty. However, the results didn’t turn out as well as I hoped. Yes, it took care of my occasional breakouts but this toner left a sticky residue on my face that felt unpleasant and I found myself having to wash my face after using it because that sticky residue irritated my skin. This is not recommended for anyone with sensitive skin. Sea Breeze comes with a special toner for those with sensitive skin (which may imply that this toner is for those who DON’T have sensitive skin). I tried that product after using this and it works very well. I highly suggest you switch to that if you have sensitive skin.

Don’t get me wrong! This product is great for those with dry and sensitive skin. It’s mild, gentle, and will leave your skin moisturized. However, it didn’t work for my combination to oily skin. It made my skin too oily and it doesn't completely take the dirt away from my face. After trying this product for a brief period of time, I guarantee you that baby oil will do as a good a job as this toner.

Finally! A petroleum jelly that’s not going to leave me smelling like glue! This product does everything a petroleum jelly should do; it keeps my skin of chafing and gives me a nice glow. However, this product is much much better because it has the smell of cocoa butter which makes my skin smell very sweet. It goes very well with my Vaseline cocoa butter lotion and also it works great as a lip balm (there is a smaller version now!). Great for dry skin!

This moisturizer actually works great since it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, it was too greasy for my skin and it didn't do anything to improve the flakiness. Plus, it smelled to medicinal for me. It's better for people who have oily skin. For those with dry skin, it's better to get a moisturizer that it much creamier (like Pond's Dry Skin Cream).

I use a self tanner some days so it's very important to exfoliate in the shower before getting started. I used to use the St. Ives Apricot face scrub but I decided to give this body wash a go (I had nothing to lose anyway). This product made my skin very smooth and dewy. Plus, it smelled great! Even my boyfriend was amazed at how soft my skin was. It's definitely worth it, especially with the reasonable price!
