I don't wear blush often. Either the ones I buy are too pink or too brown. Pink doesn't look natural on me and the browns pretty much have me thinking "why bother?" My skin is brown so there was never really a point. That is until I found LoveJoy. It seems to be more in the brown family but has these red-ish, maybe burgundy undertones that look great against my skin. Not too much and its like I can wear it day or night. I found a new best friend.

I bought this sponge from Sephora only recently because I absolutely refused to pay $20 for a sponge when my hands usually work just fine. I finally gave in an purchased it and I don't really get what the big deal is. I like it slightly better than the triangular sponges because the pointy part is great for getting under your eyes and the round bottom I awesome for our cheeks and forehead. So the design is great. I will say that I like it better than using a brush-only because there are no streaks. However, it soaks up so much of the product that it takes you 2-3x as long to get the coverage you want and when cleaning it, the product doesn't really come off completely. I don't use it every day because I'd end up spending all my time applying it. I guess I am stuck with it now but I wouldn't buy one again.

I purchased the miniature version of this on my way out of Sephora one day and the only reason I knew about it is from a friend of mine who used to use it. I like that it has smooth feel and finish and it does make you feel like it instantly covers your pores. While I wasn't expecting a miracle to happen, I really don't feel like it lasted as long as I thought it should. I am totally okay with giving it another chance but I haven't really noticed a long lasting effect with it. Immediate, yes, over time, no. Maybe it's not match for my oily skin.

I found this pencil at Target. I like it but the only complaint that I have is that I wish it came in a darker color. My eyebrows are black, and the darkest they had was a brown so I have to blend it in with darker powder so that my eyebrows don't look like a completely different color than they should. The only way I would purchase this again is if I found something that was a little closer to the color of my natural eyebrows.

I purchased this pencil in the Burgundy color to compliment the MAC Red lipstick. I think because it is darker, it tones down the brightness of the lipstick and it glides on smoothly which is also a bonus. Its a regular pencil just like any other so it will need to be sharpened. I like the color so much that I might just wear it out alone without the lipstick.

MAC has a program where if you bring back 6 empty product containers that you will get your choice of a free lipstick. I chose the MAC Red. The rep that was working helped me choose it from a few different reds that they had and also helped me choose a lip liner that would compliment it perfectly. The color is a little bright and bold but with the liner it tones it down so that I can wear it during the day without looking too outrageous. I'm sure that you can wear it with gloss as well to brighten up the look. The formula is very creamy and what I appreciate extremely is that it doesn't have a smell. You know how some lipsticks have a smell? This one doesn't, so I hardly remember that I'm wearing it throughout the day. Good job MAC. You've done it once again.

I purchased my Mia back in 2009 as a birthday gift to myself and I haven't regretted it all even 6 years later. I still have the same one. Using this brush for 1 minute after removing my makeup has practically eliminated the need for me to purchase toner for my acne prone skin. When you first buy it, I would recommend only using it once a day until you are comfortable using it, When I first bought it, I was using it twice a day every day and this became a little expensive. It is recommended that if you use it twice a day you should replace the brush every 3 months and since the brushes can cost upwards of $40 for 2, I opted to only using it once a day. But as of late, you can buy the replacement brush heads on Groupon for a fraction of the price. Anyway, I used to have major acne issues with some pits on my cheeks and using the brush with a combination of some really good cleansers and soaps has helped repair some of the damage, My skin looks better now in my 30's than it did in my mid-twenties. I still have acne and scarring but that's an entire other issue that has nothing to do with the brush. A few more pros: it is very easy to clean- you can just pop off the brush and use soap and water to clean it. You also don't have to charge it every day. After about 20 uses the brush will pulsate 1- 5 times before it dies. You will have to charge it for about 18 hours, so I just put it on the charger in the morning and by the time I'm ready for bed, its all charged up for another 20 or so uses. I also recommend you make sure you get the correct brush for your skin type. I thought that because I had acne prone skin that I needed something harsh which is not the case. I started to use the delicate one and now that they have an option specifically for acne, that is the one that I use. It also travels well because it's not too big. The only Con that I have is that I wish it would have come with a small travel bag. I'm pretty sure that now that there are so many different versions I can just buy one online. But, I said all that to say that I'm happy that I bought it, I feel like it was completely worth it.

I received a few of them as samples in a raffle from my friend's job. I'm not a very big fan of lip gloss, but they were free so its not like I wasted my money. Okay, I think they start out a bit sticky. Its doesn't glide on smoothly. I like that it has a little bit of shimmer, its not too much which is cool, but the scent IS a bit much. Its so strong that after a while it gave me a headache (maybe my nose is sensitive or something). I just don't think it looks right on me. I guess the end result is that I wouldn't purchase this product for myself.

This lipstick is actually pretty good. Because its sheer you can add a little or add a lot depending on the look you are going for. Its very creamy so it glides on smooth. You may need to keep it with you throughout the day for quick touchups, but I think its worth it. I let my sister use it once and now she wants me to order one for her. I only have it in 2 colors, but I'm sure I'll be buying more.

This is a great investment. I say investment because it's a little more expensive and a standard body wash you can buy from Walmart. It smells great, lathers well, and also leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth, and soft. The bonus is that it's a 2-in-1 shave gel so no need to buy shave cream.
