I wanted to experiment with a d/s brand matte foundation. The colors are decieving at first glance. Just to give an idea of my complexion I am A/A skin toned and normally wear studio fix in NW 43. I first tried this product in toffee 0 (after trying maybelline liquid foundation in caramel 2 and thought it to be too dark)Well.... Toffee was way too light, it looked fine in ALL the mirrors in my house- well I did think it was a little pale at first but then it settled in to look good, or so I thought. I took a photo of myself and I still looked good on my cam's 3x3" screen. But, when I uploaded it to my computer I looked like a ghost!!! good thing I didn't leave the house. Because I liked the texture and the light feeling, I decided to give DMM one more try and purchased it in caramel dark 2. Perfect match. I will suggest still using a moisturizer even though going for a matte look, b/c without it even the caramel (which is a good match) had powdery white/ashy finish, and a little goes a very long way. I have only been using it for a few days and I have noticed my skin feeling a little irritated. Idk if it is b/c of this foundation or other things I've been using lately but my face is itchy..... Oh!! one last tip, this is REALLY a matte finish to keep from looking too dull a cream or shimmery blush goes great.

There are definately better and less expensive clear glosses out there. The only reason I gave it 5 stars is because it lasts forever and the shine is good. Its very thick and sticky. Too sticky, everything will adhere to your lips especially your hair, and to the cap. Because it's so thick cleaning all the stuff off the cap is kinda hard also. I haven't bought this in a long time and I don't know if they have since changed the formula, but there is also a smell to it that I didn't like. I actually hated it. If that smell is gone I might give it a higher rating but still not worth the $$ with all the alternatives out there. NARS is a great alternative but still pretty costly.

I bought this product at ULTA for less than $4. The sales rep there talked me into buying it to catch loose eyeshadow that might fall under my eyes while applying. I gave in b/c it was so inexpensive, and I saw that catch the e/s trick on Tyra. I was still skeptical to buy the powder because it is so light. I am AA and I was afraid that it would make me appear ashy. The powder really is translucent and doesn't leave me ashy looking at all, even in photos! Although I originally bought it for the e/s trick; I now use it to set my foundation, or alone to diminish shine and make my skin look soft. This product is great. Worth every cent. I apply it lightly with a large powder brush all over, like mineral veil. For the e/s trick I use a little more, lightly patting it under my eyes and then brushing away when I'm done with the powder brush.

I gave this mascara 3 days before deciding to review it. My conclusion is that it is not worth trying. It does not lengthen dramatically, or even mediocre, just a little. It separates and defines great. If you already have long lashes, want separation and a little more length, then this may be for you. If you're contemplating purchasing this mascara because you don't have long lashes and want the length, consider something else. The advertisements hype the product beyond its performance. The packaging is unique and sexy. The brush may be the reason for the separation and definition, I'm not sure. I have photos (of me wearing this) and more reviews of this item on my blog, check my profile for the address

I suffer from REALLY dry lips, I mean it's crazy how dry. I have filtered through almost every lip balm imaginable even the regular burts bees and never completely satisfied. This one is absolutely the best. Its not greasy or sticky and lasts very long. I think it's a little costly for lip balm but WELL worth it. I think it has a tiny bit tint to it but I don't mind, I actually like it. The only reason I didn't give a perfect 10 is because there is no SPF

I bought this foundation at walgreens just because it was on clearance for $1+change, so I figured what the heck. I actually thought it was neutrogena because it was right next to it, but anyways.... The colors are weird, I actually didn't buy it in my skin tone (b/c they didnt have it)so I got it lighter figuring I could use it in someway (even the lighter color was abnoral for anyones skin tone). Well I just used it for the first time today and used it under my eyes just to brighten the area a bit and catch any e/s dust. --- This is the most impractical bottle ever!!! Its glass. which makes no sense because its hard to get the foundation out. I took a Qtip and took a dab out of the lid and rubbed it on the back of my hand. It's a little thin imo, but not thin enough to come out of the bottle easily, go figure. The coverage was OK for me, very light but I never wear full coverage anyways and it served its purpose for brightening the eyes. It's been a whole work day already and it has def disappeared long ago so this is not meant to last the whole day not even 1/2 a day. Maybe just a trip to the store, lol. Definately not the best but I have wasted $1 on much less. Would I use it again? Maybe if I'm bored and wanted to play in MU and not waste my good stuff.

This was my first non drugstore foundation, and my first MAC purchase years ago when I was a teen, and I have loved and used it ever since. I think my initial love for it was that the sponge had it's own separate compartment (unlike the d/s brands that I was using up until then.. I know, its the little things lol:) I started out applying it with the sponge and was happy until I used a brush and became happier. This is my all time favorite item and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

I absolutly love this eyeliner. So much so that I added to my list of things I would go crazy without, and kicked my MAC fluid line out of my makeup bag. (don't get it twisted MAC is still the greatest but when factoring in price and quality- it's taking a back seat) I purchased the black and brown at CVS BOGO. The liner goes on very smooth and does not easily smear. I tested it on my hand when I first got it and even after rubbing and washing my hands the line was still there. It is also good for brows, thats what i use the brown for and the brush thats included also works great on the brow trick but I prefer a more prof. brush for lining the eyes.
