Revlon has been making quality nail polish since before I can remember. The colors are highly pigmented and look super glossy on. My favorite part about this product is the ever-changing color options and the unique hues. Far from the standar pinks and reds I liek that thic collection of polish branches out and takes risk with its colors, textures and finishes. I have brown from this collection that I just adore.

I recently wanted to color my hair because my roots had grown out to the point where you could say I had 'ombre hair'... it was way past due. I was originially going to go to a professional but my grad pictures crept up on me so I ran to cvs and picked up this in their new special collection, "sunkissed caramels". I expected decent color that would work for a few months until I could see a professional and I was shocked when I had the best coloring experince I've ever had. The shade is a rich, deep blonde that allowed my natural highlights and dimension to peek through while still covering up the dark brown, hyper-roots I wanted to disguise. I couldn't be more happy with this color. I have friends who cannot beleive it came from a box when I tell them. I haven't tried any other colors from L'Oreal Preference but I'm on my second box of the sunkissed caramel and I can't see myself ever switching. It's amazing color.

I needed to buy a classic red lipstick for my Halloween costume this year. I'm usually not a candy apple red lips kind of girl but for the sake of my costume I bought the CoverGirl LipPerfection lipcolor in #305, Hot Passion and I'm so pleasantly surprised! The color depositing power of this formula is unbelievable, and a few swipes and my lips were fire truck red. The texture is so smooth without looking matte. It is an incredibly creamy lipstick which looks lovely but also makes it easy to transfer onto corners of your mouth, wineglasses etc. But really, thats its only flaw. And you can't beat the price ! This is really a great drugstore find. I can't wait to try the other colors in the collection.

I heard about this concealer from a youtube beauty guru and she was right, this is the best drugstore concealer and may be better than Mac and other higher end concealers too. I dab a tiny bit of this under each eye and blend downwards. It masks dark circles, puffiness and never settles into fine lines. I put some down the bridge of my nose, and a little between my brows for highlighting too. It stays on all day, never cakes, and makes me look wide awake. It works great on blemishes and sun spots too. I've even seen it used to cover tattoos. Its a miracle product and if you are in the market for a concealer, give this a try. If you are medium/light skin tone like me, I suggest using the "natural light" shade.

Right now, this is one of my favorite mascaras. True to its name, it gives that full, dramatic, plush effect that you get from a good set of false lashes without the hassle of false lashes. The brush seems to do it all; It curls, defines, lengthens and it gives great volume. Watch out for a little flaking though. I sometimes have to run a Q-tip along my under eye to remove the flakes this mascara can leave. But that seems to be an issue with most high-drama mascaras. Really this is a great alternative to mascaras twice its price and to the annoyance adhering false lashes.

There seems to be many great drugstore primers on the market nowadays and this one is no exception. After cleansing skin, and before applying my foundation I dabbed a pea- sized amount on my tea zone, focusing on my nose and cheeks where my pores tend to be the most noticeable and immediately I noticed the skin felt tightened. Applying a liquid foundation over this primer you can really see how smooth this primer allows the foundation to apply. I recommend waiting a few minutes after applying this product before putting on foundation to make sure its fully dried and settled into your skin otherwise I noticed it can mix with the foundation rather than lay underneath as a base. But my pores defiantly appeared less noticeable and overall my makeup looked more seamless. I recommend giving this a try. It's a good dupe for Benefit's Pore filler which is three times the price of this.

I wanted a tinted moisturizer for days heavy foundation wasn't appropriate and this has been a miracle worker. Not only does it offer amazing coverage concealing my acne scaring and sunspots, but when I take this off at the end of the day I notice my skin is more even toned, more firm (as in fine lines and wrinkles are less noticeable) and my face just looks more youthful and glowing. I really cannot say enough to how amazing this moisturizer is. It has great long wear power as well, by day's end this stuff hasn't budged. Skin can get a little dewy if you have combination skin like me, so blotting might be necessary but I think that's a small price to pay for what a difference this has made to the quality of my skin. This is now a staple product in my beauty routine.

I would compare applying this to putting a light coverage liquid foundation under your eye. Dark circles shone through, there was no dramatic difference in lightening or concealing puffiness. Additionally their shade selection doesn't accommodate many skin tones. Overall, this didn't apply like a concealer at all let alone one specifically formulated to mask under eye imperfections as it claims.

For a drugstore brand, this product is impressive. With a few coats, lashes are instantly curled. Additionally, as the name suggest, each lash is individually defined for a full set of lashes without the clumps and flaking of other mascaras. That being said this mascara also do give that over the top lashes look and for that reason I recommend it for day use when you want definition but not necessarily a dramatic lash look. My one complaint is that it seemed to run out of product fairly quickly.

These pots of cream eyeshadow are better than department store rivals that are twice the price and the pigmentation is astonishing. I bought "bad to the bronze", a coppery metallic cream that is great for the eyelid's crease and as an all over lid-color for darker skin tones. I purchsed the purple shade for a costume and my eyes looked like someone had painted them, the color was astonishingly bright and pigmented. I fell asleep with my makeup on and woke up the next morning and it had not budged. I also have it in a silvery slate color that I'm not as wild about. I thought it would make a good highlighter but it looks too frosty. I would have given these a 10 but their color range is a bit odd and I suggest more shimmery nuetrals for everyday use. While the purple was great, its not a very practical shade; I've used it once and I've had it over a year while my bad to the bronze is almost gone.
