I tried this remover since I had read some good reviews of it and the Benefit kit that I recently bought (Do the Bright Thing) included They're Real Mascara, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to give them both a try. Well I have to say that I tried removing my mascara with both this and my normal make up remover and I have to say that I didn't notice any big differences. I still needed to clean my eyes a couple of times to get all the mascara off so I wouldn't say that I am not going to buy it again. It's a good price and does it's job as good as the other make up removers in it's range, however don't expect any miracles!

I received this mascara as part of the "Do the Bright Thing" kit which consists of 5 miniatures and a brush (quite good if you want to test the products). I really liked the texture of this mascara as it is not very thick so it is easy to apply, especially in the morning if you are on the go; on the other hand, it isn't runny so it dries quite quickly and does not smudge easily. That is another plus I found; my eyes are quite sensitive and they water quite a lot, sometimes I find that normal mascaras (not waterproof) end up smudging during the day...well, not with this mascara! The eyelashes appear instantly lengthened and well-separated; the only reason that I did not give it full marks is that I didn't find it that it really gives a lot of volume and added thickness so if you need to have more dramatic lashes for an evening look you would probably end up needing 2 to 3 more coats to reach the desired effect.

The sales girl recommended this product saying it was perfect for a winged-eye look...well, I really beg to differ! I am used to applying eyeliner in both liquid and gel consistencies, and usually pen eyeliners are quite easy to use but the 3 dot liner is a whole other story. First of all, you have to be really careful how you hold the pen since the slightest false move can ruin the whole line. Imagine trying to apply liquid eyeliner not with one tip but with 3!!! And as for the winged look - which is the main reason why I was encouraged to buy it - unless you know how to twist the pen in a certain way ( I still haven't figured it out quite yet!) while you're drawing the line, you end up with a really thick mess instead of a precise wing. A normal liquid eyeliner or a pot of gel liner (like NYX's for example) is much easier to use and half the price!!! I cannot stress enough how much I didn't like this product...The only reason why I gave it a 3 is because the colour is quite intense, although in this case I am not sure it is a pro since it makes it even more difficult to remove when I make a mistake!
