A purely pleasant cleanser

I keep coming back to this herbal-scented, low foaming, gentle but effective cleanser. It is just a pleasure to use. I work for a dermatologist and I know Cetaphil or Neutrogena cleansers will do the job just as well without interfering with my topical acne products, but I just like purity made simple (aside from the hokey writing as with all their products). It hasn't cleared my skin or improved the condition of my complexion... but it takes off my make up and feels and smells nice while doing it.

The way to wear a scent!

I'm not too crazy about cashmere mist Edp, but this is the best smelling, best performing deo/antipersp. out there. The stick formula is smooth, with no white on my clothes. The scent lasts with me all day and mixes well with other perfumes. It's almost like a solid perfume with extra benefits. I have gotten compliments of "ooh. you smell nice!" just with the DK Cashmere Mist Deodorant/Antiperspirant on and nothing else. It doesn't irritate my undearms, even after shaving. This will become a staple for sho!

Nars Blush

Another cult-fave dissapointment!

I've tried NARS blush in Org--m (apparently Total Beauty doen't allow the whole word even though it's named in the Editor's review) a few times in different lighting just to make sure.... but it was a no go for me. I wanted to like it, everyone else seems to (but everyone raves about Great Wear mascara and I could care less for that too)! I could use Org--m as a highlighter perhaps, because even though I'm very fair, it certainly wasn't enough color for a blush. I like Deep Throat blush for a flush of healthy color. However, for a $25 compact, the rubber container attracts all kind of mess! For a similar color with a little shimmer, try Urban Decay's compact blush in Score.

Bulgari BVLGARI pour Femme Eau de Toilette Spray

Pretty, classic floral

Notes: jasmine, rose, bergamot, citrus, tuberose, hesperidic, musk. On my skin, the Jasmine and Tuberose dominate after the initial freshness of the citrus and bergamot fades. I smell a licorice like note, though none is listed. I love this scent, and wish I could get away with wearing it to work, but it is a little on the heavy side.(which is not a negative, BTW) Overall, a nice perfume, but not one I find myself reaching for very often.

Clinique Kohl Shaper For Eyes

My HG of pencil eyeliners!

There are many things to love about this liner. It is easy to apply without tugging, works well for a simple "smoky eye" when used with a smudger, comes in an unique array of colors, and has a built-in sharpener on the cap. It may not be the best if you're looking for a super long lasting or unsmudgeable eyeliner, but as a "kohl" liner, it is probably not meant to have those characteristics. And did I mention the beautiful colors?
