This stuff works much better than most other lip repairs I use. it really seems to heal and prevent chapping and tightness in the winter. I wish it was paraben-free like a lot of the other Caudalie products. If it were, I would use it exclusively!

The Deep Auburn is a fantastic shade. I hope they are not discontinuing this line, but if they do, the Volume Couture line has the color also. See my review of that for more about how good the color is. This is also an excellent mascara for other reasons: doesn't flake, doesn't clump very much, only takes one coat for excellent coverage.

The beneficial exfoliation from this product comes more from the glycolic and salycilic acids than from the "beads," which are little blobs of moisturizer. The beads are designed to burst open on your skin as you rub it on, so I can't imagine they get much scrubbing done. The overall effect works though: I really think my skin looks brighter and feels smoother as a result of the combination of exfoliants and moisturizers in this product. This has been much more beneficial than just physically exfoliating with a loofah and shower gel. I imagine the effects would be even more noticeable if I used a cloth or sponge instead of just my hands to lather it on. The smell is strong, but agreeable if you are a person like me who digs citrusy scents. I'm not sure there is a need for it to be such an intense artificial color-- it is tinting the bathtub a little! But I'm sure cleaning the tub would get rid of this odd side effect. Basically, I like this product a lot and will keep using it. Oh, and I should note that while it says that you can use it on your face, I have not done so, so I can't speak to its effect there. Strikes me as being a bit intense for the face, but maybe not.

It works as advertised, and has a great purple shade. The little tubes are so cute when they come off!

I bought the rosso, thinking it was a great idea, a great color. Turns out it stings a lot, has one of those ineffectual comb style brushes, and the color made me look like a vampire. Perhaps I should have known. The sting was the real problem. I love the new trend in highly colored mascaras, but this was a major disappointment.

I expected a better color with the golden green (no gold tinge at all), but the real problem was that it runs and smudges with seemingly no rubbing necessary! I know it's not waterproof, but I've never looked in the mirror after an hour of no rubbing and seen raccoon eyes before.
