I have sensitive skin and I'm prone to redness, so I was excited to try this cleanser. I haven't noticed a difference in my skin's redness, but it definitely suits sensitive skin and leaves it feeling fresh and clean but not irritated or dry. It is a clear gel but it effectively removed all of my makeup, including mascara. I can't say that I'm addicted, but it's a nice wash to keep in the shower and use when I don't need to exfoliate. It has a fresh gardenia scent too!

I have long, wavy, color-treated hair, so I always look for a very hydrating and protective conditioner. This was instantly detangling and hydrating, but there was not the usual heaviness that accompanies many rich conditioners. My hair felt supple and smooth after I rinsed, and once it dried it had a nice shine. Don't expect a cucumber scent, despite the name -- the entire line has a pleasant gardenia scent. I'm not crazy about the packaging (the extra cap seems like a waste of plastic), but it's a great value for a such a big bottle!

I've tried all-natural shampoos free of SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate) before, but was consistently disappointed at their inability to lather. This shampoo definitely satisfied my lathering need (I have a lot of hair and need a good lather in order to feel clean). My hair did, however, feel a bit dry after shampooing, so if you have thick or slightly dry hair like me, I would recommend following with the Yes To Cucumbers Color Care Daily Makeover Conditioner, which is very rich but doesn't weigh hair down. Despite the product name, don't expect a cucumber scent -- it's more of a gardenia fragrance, but it's pleasant and not overpowering. My hair was nice and shiny after it dried, which always makes my color look more vibrant.
