    Revlon ColorStay Brow Pencil

Brow crayon is great! Highlighter is useless lol

I have dark blonde hair but highlight my hair with streaks of nearly white blonde hightlighs and have a hard time finding a brow tool that will fill in my brows in a natural looking way. I came across this because I love the entire Revlon colorstay line and have already went through two of them. I have recommended them to family members and friends, because not only does it fill in your brows nicely, but the wax helps to keep them in place all day. As I noted in the subject line, I feel like the highlighter side of this tool is useless. It is not easy to blend out at all! But, I didnt buy this for the highlighter so I guess I can't complain. My only other complaint would be that I tend to go through this rather quickly (I use it daily, for maybe 2 months before it runs out). So hopefully eventually Revlon will wise up and take out the highlighter all together and just make the brow filler last longer.

  • Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow

I love these! What an amazing selection of colors, the pigmentation is excellent, and the staying power is equally impressive. The texture upon opening is slightly drier than Mac's paintpots, but after about six months, I'd say both brands are equal in texture (hope that makes sense!). I'm excited to see if they come out with a few sheer/irredecent shades (like MAC's morning frost). I'd be the first one in line to buy them if they did! All in all, these are totally worth the money, you wont be dissapointed!

  • Revlon ColorStay 16-Hour Eyeshadow

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about these eye shadows. The color payoff/ pigmentation is great, there is a wide selection of colors to choose from, Fallout is minimal, and staying power is great. I use these on a daily basis. In addition - if you wet your eyeliner smudger brush a little bit, these shadows work great as a liner too!

    Benefit High Beam Liquid Highlighter

Not as good as ELF's highlighting pen & is significantly more expensive

I have tried so many highlighters that are on the market today & agree that this is a good highlight. But...there are options that I truly feel are better & much less expensive. For example - I love ELF's highlighting pen for three dollars and It blends out better than this product does. This does have a nice shimmer to it, and feel like anyone buying it would be happy with it. It's just wayyy overpriced.

Beautiful highlighter, but there are cheaper dupes for this

Great highlighter, beautiful highlight. But not worth the money. Try ELF's $3 blush in "highlight" color. You'll be amazed at how beautiful it is. And...how much more reasonably priced it is.

    E.L.F. Studio Small Angled Brush

Can't be beat, for the price!

You truly cannot go wrong with ELF brushes. All of the Studio line brushes are amazing & I have often found that even if prefer not to use the brush for its intended use, you can always find a better use for it down the road. The quality of these brushes guarantee they will last for a long time.

  • MAC 217 Blending Brush

    MAC 217 Blending Brush

I tend to try to be a bargain shopper, but this is a must!

I am all-for buying Sigma, ELF & Real Techniques, because I feel like MAC's brushes are wayyy too overpriced. The 217 brush however has yet to be duplicated, and is totally worth the money. I use it daily. There truly is nothing like the design, that I have found yet. You won't find a better crease brush!

  • John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo

Smells nice, but SOOO watered down

I keep this shampoo on the ledge of my shower, away from the showerhead, so I'm sure that its not collecting water from my shower. It is so watery. I like the conditioner & assumed I would like the shampoo equally well. Not so much. Im usually a fan of John Frieda stuff, so this surprises me. It smells nice & I guess it is helping to keep my hair smooth in this crazy cold winter/dry heat weather. Probably will not buy again :-(

    Neutrogena Wave Sonic Spinning Power-Cleanser

Doesn't deep clean, leaves a lot of residual makeup behind

I liked using this until I came across the Olay pro x brush. Now there is no comparison between the two. I didn't realize how much it wasnt cleaning until I started using the Olay brush. The texture of my skin didn't change much either after using it, whereas I could tell an immediate difference in the texture & feel of my skin after using the Olay brush. I feel like its worth it to spend the little bit of extra money to get something that you will have better results.

  • Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

I just started using this mask to see what all the hype was about on YouTube. I love the price, the smell & the way my face felt afterwards. It kinda stung my face a little After applying but the stinging went away after it started to harden. I would definitely buy again.
