Absolutely love the smell of this Yucca & Baobab line - makes my shower feel so amazing & luxurious. Great for fine thin hair, doesn't weigh it down at all.

After using John Masters Organic Lavender & ROsemary shampoo for normal hair, as well as Shikai Gold Highlighting Shampoo (both of which left my highlighted hair looking and feeling like straw after just 1 use of them), I went back to Shea Moisture Retention. I try not to use drugstore shampoos like Loreal & Pantene because of all the chemicals. Shea Moisture doesn't leave my hair dry and after supplementing with the conditioner it's completely elastic and moisturized. I'm happy with it. The Yucca & Baobab line is great too, but for colored hair I try to use the Moisture Retention.

Love that this comes in a dark glass bottle. IT's recommended for mature skin but I use it for my young oily combo skin anyway. It removes the grime just as well as other toners made for oily skin, and softens too. There's none of that harsh drying action. Leaves behind an elegant rose scent.

THis entire Yucca & Baobab line is amazing. I'm white, I have thin/fine/greasy/highlighted hair and this stuff is great for it. Moisturizing, yet doesn't weigh hair down. You rinse it out and it's good to style. Also the fragrance in these products is very pleasant and perfumey, I hope they never stop making it.

I was initially confused by this line because I thought it was for African american hair only, however I took a chance in trying it because it says "for thin fine hair". This shampoo has no bad ingredients at all and therefore doesn't lather that well. That's probably its only disadvantage, although it cleans the oils off my scalp very well. I have fine thin greasy hair that's also highlighted. This shampoo cleans my roots really well but doesn't strip the shaft of my hair to damage it further. I use all the products in this line, along with the thickening moisture mist and thickening growth milk. THey're all amazing and complement each other really well. When used all together, the result after a blowout is shiny thick fragrant hair. Love this stuff!

This mascara feels great on the lashes - doesn't dry them out and does not flake. Lashes are nicely separated and lengthened. I personally prefer a second coat because I like BIG lashes and I love that they still don't clump. My only tiny criticism is that the wand is somewhat thick and I find it hard to get it in the corner lashes.

Got this trio in I'm Getting Sunburned. Shadows are SUPER pigmented. One light swipe of the dark brown left a very lasting stain on my eyes, and the effect is almost waterproof, I had to use castor oil to get it all off. The gold color is amazing - its got shimmer and leaves a fantastic glow to the eye. Not thrilled with the pink browbone color bc I don't tink its compatible with the other 2, but can be used separately; the color payoff and shimmer are nice too. Will def look for more of these trios soon!! *Update: today is 05/03/14 - I'm coming back to update this review because I have now noticed that these shadows give me an allergic reaction. I use different shadows and palettes depending on the day by different brands, and after some experimentation I have now realized that these trios are prob harmful to your health. The colors look great on the eyes but they're probably so cheap due to massive chemicals/toxins inside, because my eyes sting and hurt all day now after I use these. I have a pain behind the eyes that doesn't go away until after I wash them off and it's impossible to work at my desk job like this, especially if you use a computer. Due to massive rise in allergies everywhere around the world, I'd recommend skipping these now and pulling out a few more bucks to purchase something better. The shadows that don't give me any problems include Lancome, Victoria's Secret, Bareminerals, and even Physician's Formula.

I was convinced by a saleswoman to buy this at Sephora. I usually never succumb to their pitches but this time I bought it for some reason. My hair is natural, fine, thin, and down to my chest. I spray this on towel dried hair before blowdrying my hair upside down. This product I think makes the most difference in the root/scalp area. You can definitely tell that the spray lifts the hair up around the scalp, especially around the temples. This gives the illusion of more fullness. My hair needs a haircut at this point, which is why the spray did nothing for my ends (they are damaged and thinned out at this point). The spray does make your hair seem thicker, I think that's because the hair separates and stands out more. You do have to sacrifice softness for it though. It definitely feels styled and worked through as opposed to my natural fine soft texture. But on the days that I need to style or make an updo or have a special occasion, this spray def comes in handy.

I don't know about the YSL touche eclat comparison because I haven't tried it. But this maybelline concealer covers my bluish dark circles pretty well; there's no trace of shadow under my eyes after I use this. I'd prefer a different application method though because too much comes out after twisting the pen.

This must be used sparingly on fine and limp hair. As long as you don't overdo it, this oil softens the hair nicely and the smell is so intoxicating that it makes me wanna use it more and more. The bottle is really pretty too.
