I picked up this pressed powder in shade 20 to replace my Benefit Hello Flawless which is a shade too light for my summer tan. Not only is the blu_ray powder less expensive, when I use it with the blu_ray activating primer, it looks so smooth after application. It doesn't settle into my fine lines and pores the way certain mineral foundations tend to. And with a bit of extra layering, it even covers the rosacea on my cheeks without looking cakey or having to use any liquid foundation. I like it the result even more than with the Benefit powder. Bonus! This product gets a hazard rating of 1 out of 10!

Philosophy The Microdelivery Daily Exfoliating Facial Wash
Gentle enough to use every day, and fairly healthy too
Though a couple of the ingredients can cause allergic reactions in some, it gets a hazard rating of only 3. I have to say I personally love this product and use it almost every day :)

Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12-Hour Brightening Primer
THIS WAS THE FIRST PRIMER I BOUGHT AND ACTUALLY USED THE ENTIRE TUBE!
It is thicker than most primers I have tried, and a little goes a long way. When applied sparingly it is lightweight, mattifying, absorbs quickly, appears to even out skin tone, and makes skin feel very smooth. Applying too much, or before moisturizer has fully absorbed, can cause it to ball up and roll off. Clean Slate is by far my favorite primer because the results are similar to silicone based primers, but it does not clog more pores the way I have experienced with so many other similar products. I also appreciate that, unlike so many other primers, overall the ingredients are fairly healthy. I would highly recommend this primer.

I purchased this product as part of the Natural Beauty set from Sephora back in December 2009. This bronzer has since been reformulated. It received a hazard rating of 9 in the last review in 2009 on the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database website. The new list of ingredients seems to be a big improvement over the old formulation, (now it gets a rating of 3 out of 10) though it still contains some questionable and moderately hazardous components which appear relatively high on the ingredient list.
