    M.A.C. Eye Shadow

More pigment and more staying power

This is THE eyeshadow to have if you want more control over how much color to deposit on your eyelids. The color lasts all day, and the product lasts a long time. I also use the Carbon as an eyeliner (daily) with the MAC eyeliner brush and I've had the same container for about 2 years--i know you're not supposed to keep them this long, but i don't have any problems with it. This one is well worth the investment. The only negative is that I wish they had a compact to put several colors in at a time, which would make them more "travel friendly"

    Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

    Nice concept, if it worked!

I thought the idea of a spray on tanner or "makeup" was great because you wouldn't have to get your hands dirty. If not, what's the difference between a lotion or a spray. While this product provides pretty good coverage, it is messy and inconvenient to use. When sprayed on, it is runny, so it has to be rubbed in anyway which defeats the purpose of having a spray on.

    CND SolarOil

    Wonderful stuff!

I've been using this oil for about 10 years and so far haven't found anything better for keeping my cuticles smooth. After a manicure, it helps polish dry faster, and gives your nails a great shine. The brush makes it convenient to apply with no mess. Smells great too.

Sally Hansen Smooth Cuticles Now! Cuticle Remover

    Moisturizes, but didn't remove cuticles

I have used several cuticle removers and find that there are very few that live up to their promises. This one is a good moisturizer for cuticles, but after following the instructions, it didn't remove anything. I tried several times with no luck. Now I just use it as a moisturizer but wouldn't buy it again.

  • M.A.C. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

M.A.C. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

    Mac Studio Fix Pressed Powder

This powder is the answer for when you're in a hurry, but need coverage without having to use foundation. This is the best coverage I have ever seen with a powder. However, it doesn't have sunscreen so that is a must before applying this product. I have recommended it to many friends who swear by it and don't use anything else for coverage. I usually like to use a foundation and a powder, but with this one, you don't really need a foundation. The variety of colors makes it easy to find one that matches your skin perfectly! The only improvement I would ask for is that it be available in more stores.

  • M.A.C. Blot Powder/Pressed

    M.A.C. Blot Powder/Pressed

Works well for oil, but not coverage.

As a chick with oily skin, my makeup tends to get shiny a couple hours after I put it on. Along with that, it seems to disappear. Not sure if it soaks into my skin or slides off? I carry Mac Pressed Blot Powder around to soak up the shinies, which it does quite well. If you're looking for coverage though, it has very little. I use the medium, and my skin is pretty much a "medium" color, but MAC's version is a little too light. Unfortunately there's nothing in between medium and the next darker color, which is way too dark. Anyway, overall, I have found that I like the blot papers just as well. They are cheaper and don't dry out your skin the way the Blot powder can.

  • MAC Pro LongLash Mascara

    MAC Pro LongLash Mascara

Think it would stay on better in the Winter Time

MAC Pro LongLash Mascara gives good lenght and coverage. The brush isn't remarkable, but is easy to use with minimal clumping--haven't found a mascara that doesn't clump yet. I would say it's as good as Lancome Defenicils (I know, bite my tongue) except I didn't get the waterproof and I have a little racoon eye going on about half way thru the day. I have always used the waterproof in Lancome and don't have that problem with it. Maybe the waterproof version of Pro Long would be better, but overall it's a pretty good buy.

  • Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream SPF 15

Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream is the best treatment cream for oily skin. It contains Alpha Hydroxy and Retin A with SPF, what more could you ask for. The product is hard to find, I have only found it at Wal-Mart, and not all of them carry it. I hope it's not in the process of being discontinued. People have actually complimented me on my skin after using this for about a week.

  • Pureology NanoGlaze

    Pureology NanoGlaze

    Best frizz tamer i've used.

I have been using the whole line of Pureology products for the last 2 years, and the Nanoglaze is one of the best. Be careful not to use too much, or your hair will end up looking greasy. It does hold down the frizzies but kind of weighs down my hair a little bit, which I just plump up with the Pureology Nanospray, and my hair stays frizz free all day!

  • Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Lotion
    8.0

Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Lotion

Smells great, but not very moisturizing

Until I ran into Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Moisturizing Lotion, working in an office with about 500 other people had me running to the sink to wash my hands frequently. Whether soap or hand sanitizer, both are very drying, so I found myself having to use a lotion either way. This product does add a little bit of moisture, but I still find myself having to use hand lotion every so often on top of this. Even so, it smells great, and I don't mind applying it frequently because the price is also reasonable.
