I've tried every expensive cream (terax, hamadi, blandi, avede, etc...) to make my platinum bleached hair shiny instead of dull--this is the ONLY product that has produced a healthy shine. Buy it--worth every penny.

Effectiveness will be determined over time; however, it is important to note that this does not irritate my hyper-sensitive skin, even on the upper eyelid--like every other eye cream on the market has. I purchased the kit a week ago and nothing has irritated that skin, which leads me to believe a) this is great stuff or b) this is not potent enough. Only time will tell.

I used to use the Kevyn Aucoin tubular mascara, but this is similar with greater volume and length. The greatness is in the tubular technology that never bleeds and only requires a warm water wipe to remove.

bareMinerals Hydrating Mineral Veil & Brighten Brush Bundle
The brush is awesome--but the feather light is a better mineral veil!
Buy it once for it's brush, so you can use it with the superior feather light mineral veil by BE. The hydrating is not as good as the feather light even for the dryet and dullest skin.

I typically use Loreal Expert 9/2 for hours to get my light brown hair platinum, but I must leave int on for hours. This only took 20 minutes and no yellow, orange or brass at the roots!! SOLD!!!

The Revlon Colorstay products are uniformly awesome...until this mineral foundation came along. It feels heavy and cakes on the skin, while not providing the coverage (in terms of quality or time) that Bare Escentuals much lighter, absorbant formula provides. Revlon's mineral eyeshadow is a keeper, but this has to go back to the drawing board or waste basket.
