Although Aveda Shampoo is more than what she wants to pay, my mom likes this shampoo very much. She feels that this shampoo gently cleanses, and helps her gray hair shiny and less-kink. Her only complain is the price, but it must be worth it because everytime I see her bathroom I see the bottle. ;) FYI: Recently I went to an Aveda store to buy one as a gift, and found out that they now sell it only in very big bottles. My mom said that this new big bottle is too big, but she understands and wants to help the environment.

First, I want to start with what I liked about this makeup: the color (06 Matte Tawny) matched my skin quite well, and it did help to control mid-day shine. Now the negative parts: I wanted to cover my acne scars and uneven skin tone with this, but I was quite disappointed with the coverage. I usually use liquid foundation, but instead I used this as a powder foundation. Bad idea. I applied the same spot over and over again, but it did cover at all. So next I used it as a over-foundation finisher. It looked better, but not completely. If I have to use both liquid foundation AND this double face makeup, I would just stick with liquid founation.

This Vaseline lotion hydrates my thirsty skin for some time, but I would not call it "intensive". It is not very greasy, but not very rich either. Although this is not my most favorite Vaseline lotion, this lotion is hypoallergenic and is also unfragranced. That's a big plus for me.

Prettier than average scented plug-ins
I have been a B&BW's wallflowers, and I recently purchased French Lavender which was on sale ($6!). It has clean and soothing scent of lavender potpourri, and this is great for our guest bathroom. It looks prettier and more elegant than some of other majoy brands' scented oil warmers. My only wish: it would be nice if I could adjust to my preferred level of scent intensity. There are many scents to choose from, and I am sure you can find something you and your family love.

It is more like lotion AND foot scrubs together because it moisturizes and exfoliates my feet. It is somewhat oily and greasy, and I did not like the scent first, but it does soften my feet pretty good. For my husband's flaky and cracked feet he had to use for some time until he saw some improvement.

I have uneven skin tone, so I got this one. Since it has spf, I use it in the morning. Although I started having a bit more acne than usual, I kept using (I was hoping that it would at least improve my skin tone and discoloration). Now my bottle is almost over, but I have not seen any improvement. Quite disappointed.

This mascara does not come with the typical brush, but a comb. The comb is pink so it makes easier to see how much I want to apply. As promised, it definitely produces no clumps, and my lashes are evenly separated, but this mascar does not curl up my lashes very well so I have to use a eyelash curler.

It smells so much like fresh baked apple pie! I received this 22 oz jar candle as a Christmas gift. The first time I used was the strongest, but not the stinky and artificial kind. I could smell a hint of cinnamon too. This stuff made me hungry! The scent seemed to weaken only a little bit toward the end of the jar, and my family enjoyed it for many weeks. Yankee Candles are a bit more expensive than most, but if you want to give someone a jar of candle, this is a good choice.

This body wash does not just smell good, but also produces good lather and cleanses without drying out my skin. The scent is quite intensive, but once I rinse away completely, the scent does not remain on skin for a long time. Although I still use body lotion afterwards, but this inexpensive body wash is a great deal!

I have been using this basic Gillette Venus razor for sometimes now. Unlike some cheap disposable razor, I can use this one for several times before blades get really dull. The razor head moves so it makes easy to shave around my elbows and knees. I also like the handle, and it is nice that I can find this product at many drugstores and grocery stores.
