My cheeks tend to get reddish especially going into the dry winter months. I received them as a gift from my aunt who loves La Prairie skin care products. One is a cream, the other one seems to be a serum. They effectively calm, smooth and help to restore my skin color to the original level. I also find them effective as a facial sunburn treatment, thus, I used them several times in summer too. The cream has an unfamiliar and weird scent, which subtle and not stinky, but definitely noticeable. These are my first La Prairie products, and I am impressed, but they are too expensive for me to use this daily. If I could afford, I would definitely buy this Cellular Nurturing Complex system, and other La Prairie products.

It has a nice floral scent, but I cannot say that it is a one-of-a-kind since I don't smell any distinctive scent. I have this bottle for at least 4 years now, and it becomes more for decoration than actually wearing it. The combination of their feminine/mature scent and the simple and elegant perfume (after all it's Ralph Lauren) makes a great gift for mature, adult women, but it's just not very extraordinary for me.

I absolutely love this diffuser. The fruity scent is absolutely lovely. It smells a bit sweeter than their Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter. It looks pretty (it comes bamboo reeds) and provides continuous scent for months. This diffuser is ideal for places that I don't want to use any tea light or candle (e.g. bathroom). This was my favorite X-mas gift that I received a few years go. Someone actually gave me something I can really use! lol.

Among all the Sunsilk collection, this Straighten-Up line works the best for my hair. As always, I match the same brand shampoo and conditioner. This conditioner makes my hair soft, smooth, and easier to comb through. The silkiness seems to help my hair looking even straighter and less frizzy without weighing down too much. I think the conditioner's performance is better than the shampoo's. Unfortunately, it is a bit perfumey. BTW, I also purchased their Straighten-Up Cream, but I like my hair without the cream because it smells too strong and a bit sticky.

I have tried Sunsilk's De-Frizz, Hydra TLC, and Beyond Brunette products (I have frizzy, dry, brunette, and straight hair...;)). My conclusion is that Straighten-Up works the best for my hair. My hair feels clean but not stripped. The matching conditioner seems to do better job straightening up a bit more. Although this is not the best shampoo for straight hair that I have ever used, this is definitely worth the sticker price. If I buy Sunsilk again, it will be Straighten-Up.

This balm is great for heels and elbows after exfoliating. Although it is thick and concentrated, it spreads better than petroleum jelly or ointment. However, even though the pump is slim, it is still too big to carry around.

I have been using Clinique Wash-Away Gel for a long time, but a Clinique sales person recently recommended me to give this makeup remover a try since some parts of my skin are now a bit dry. It is sold at the EXACT SAME as Wash-Away Gel. When I used it for the first time, I could immediately tell that this one is designed for dry skin. It is very creamy, the cleansing power is very mild. It is so mild that it does not take off my eye makeup, and sometimes I have to wash twice. If your skin can take strong makeup remover, Wash-Away Gel Cleanser is definitely better by far. After this tube is gone, I am going back to Wash-Away Gel Cleanser.

Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Conditioner
A Must Companion to Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo
This conditioner helps to moisturize and soften hair that H&S Classic Clean Shampoo dries out. Without the conditioner, your hair can look and feel very dry. Thanks to the combination of Classic Clean Shampoo and Conditioner, my husband has not had any dandruff. The bottle of the conditioner is much different from the image shown here. This conditioner has a flip up cap that is positioned at the bottom of the bottle, so it easier to get the conditioner out.

My husband suffers from occasional/mild dandruff, especially during the dry winter. His hair is oily, but his scalp is obviously dry. Ever since I bought this 5 years ago for him, he is a big fan of Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo. He tried 2 other Head & Shoulders brand shampoos, but he likes this classic light and clean scent the most. BTW, he tried Head & Shoulders Intensive Solutions, which is much more expensive, but he did not feel any significant difference. He has not had any dandruff as a result of using this shampoo AND the matching conditioner. Yes, the conditioner is definitely a must for his hair. Without the matching conditioner, his hair looks strawy and feels very brittle. I think the shampoo is quite strong. He doesn't know which one, (the shampoo, the conditioner or the combination), is actually controlling his dandruff, but definitely he uses the combo.

I got tired of buying bottles of antibacterial liquid soap too frequently. I like the fact that kids who wash their hands constantly, but we need to save money in the current economy. So I recently switched to this Dial soap. What a great buy! It has a subtle and cleaning scent. A small amount lathers quickly in water/wet hands. I can feel my hands are clean, but it is a bit strong cleansing that it dries out my hands. No problem, I put hand lotion/cream on right after washing with this soap.
