I started using Clean and Clear products when I was in high school (read: broke high school kid who broke out), and this is probably my favorite astringent in the line. I tend to get blackheads easily (especially on the nose), and this helps to keep them at bay. It is a little strong on sensitive skin (like mine), so I don't use it in the mornings or before going out in the sun.

I used to use rice paper blotters, but they never seem to get all of the shine off my face. I tried these as an impulse purchase, and they work great! I see the oil blotches on the sheet, and I don't have to worry about white dust on my face (which my other papers would sometimes do).

I've tried this in both the 70 and 85 levels. The 85 level was awesome--I experienced some redness from reacting to the chemicals, but I didn't burn. I broke out a little (a couple of bumps on the forehead--oily t-zone), but it didn't feel quite as greasy as other brands I've tried. The 70 level was pretty disappointing. It felt greasier, I broke out more (forehead, chin, and jawline), my face got red from the chemicals, AND I burned--after a hour, on a low-humidity day. The 70 and 55 are easier to find around here, but I would only consider using the 85, and that's only if my new fave (Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF 60+) is unavailable.

maybe a little too well on sensitive skin! I bought these because of my constant battle against blackheads on my nose and cheekbones, but have learned: 1)don't go out into the sun after using this product, and 2)only use them every 2-3 days, not every day. If I follow these tips (with sensitive skin), I can use them without looking like I have a sunburn. :)

This is one of my favorite cleansers to use in the summer, when my already sensitive skin is even more sensitive. I feel like it does a good job of removing heavy sunscreen without drying out my face or leaving it greasy.

I've tried some fancier cleansers, but nothing tops Clean and Clear products for price and quality. This is gentle enough for my sensitive skin, and removes eye makeup very well.

Living in Southeast Texas, the heavy sunscreen gets busted out by the end of February. After trying other Neutrogena sunscreens and being disappointed in the redness and irritation they caused, I was a bit hesitant to try the "sensitive skin formula". This is my new fave, hands down. It blends in pretty well (although my skin is a bit on the fair side), and the usual red cheeks I get (being out on a sunny day over 65 degrees) were nowhere to be found. The formula lasted a good three hours before I thought it might be time for a reapply, even with mild perspiration. Cons? It's a bit heavy feeling, and I needed to bust out a baby wipe to clean my hands off. I did get a small bump under my chin, but that's a small price to pay for not looking like a lobster after 20 minutes in the sun!
