Little background on me first: I have oily skin. I found a shade that matched perfectly when applied, but a few hours later, it oxidized and turned orange. I looked like an oompa loompa from the willa wonka movie! I asked a sales rep at the clinique counter about it and she said "oh, you have oily skin, you should use this other powder" She didn't acknowledge the product's failure to stay true to its color. This product does provide medium to full coverage but can start to look cakey. On my oily skin it stays on for a few hours. For $20, I'd recommend saving your money and buying a drugstore brand for the same quality. I'm still on the hunt for a mattifying powder. I don't recommend Clinique's Stay Matte powder either.

This foundation provides sheer to medium coverage, and if you have oily skin (and use a primer) it'll stay on for about four hours and disappear. For $19 a bottle, you're better off paying $10 for a drugstore brand that will provide the same results.
