I haven't had much luck with lip gloss, I must have to dry of lips, because usually it doesn't feel good to have on without a chapstick base. However, I thought I'd give this a try and it looked good - very shiny - and it didn't hurt and it was kind of soothing feeling. It didn't last forever, but I'm not sure what lip gloss would?!!?

Before I start to talk about the things I didn't like...I have to say, I found it at Ulta and it was much more reasonable priced then the sally hansen equivalents - I think. I also liked that any excessive can be washed off with warm water. However, it removed hair, but maybe I have to think of hair because it was patchy results - I need to do a couple different applications, but it says that it should grow back thinner - we will see!

I can't say I've experimented too much with mascaras, but I have done the Maybelline Great Lash and a few others. However I was at Ulta and trying to take advantage of some sale or offer and figured I'd give this a try - I wore it to work and one of my (female) co-workers said she had never noticed I had such long lashes. This was my mascara with primer - but I think it worked pretty well...just don't let the primer dry it is a little bit harder to put the color on afterwards.

I started using BareMinerals a few years ago - it was the only "mineral" makeup at the time, and I really like it! It does take a bit of patience to do - I feel like I waste a lot, but the container does last longer than you expect. I introduced a few woman to it and they both loved how it made them look a bit airbrushed! I like their stores - always helpful. I have bought and would buy again - but I would be curious to compare...
