Not sure how long ive been here on totalbeauty; ive written some reviews, starting before the system switched over

My primary interest is skin care. I am especially trying to find my HG eye cream, something to help reduce the crepey skin underneath (no puffs, bags, or dark circles). Also hoping to find something to tame dark spots on my face.

I enjoy cosmetics, especially strong and unusual colors (MAC Peacocky lip gloss (turquoise creme), for example). Still looking for my HG foundation. So far those that have felt good and had good texture on my skin have had bad color (too pink, too yellow, too dark); and when i have gotten a good color, the foundation irritates my eyes or looks cakey on my skin.

totalbeauty helps me narrow down my searches.
I (heart) stores that give tester samples, so i dont waste my money, product, and time with returns of unsatisfactory stuff.

Otherwise, i perform in a Balinese gamelan, cook food from medieval recipes, and enjoy historic costuming.
