I recently go through Fraxel Laser and looking for a gentle, moisturizing and non-comedogenic cleanser for my face. The first morning after laser, I used DDF gentle cleanser which causes milia all over my face. Maybe my milia is because of laser surfacing but I really don't want to test it at the moment. While looking around, i found Eva Lom cleanser tester from my beautybox subscription and wanted to give it a try. Oh my God, what a relief. All my red, dry, cracking skin turn into a smooth surface I hae not seen in years. Unfortunetely the price is so high, that is the only con. I suggest everyone to give it a try and if you can afford it, just go for it. By the way, i am 40, have dry combination skin with acne scars from my youth. Maybe not the best option for younger, oily skin.

I am a 41 year old mom with dry-combination skin, large pores and some scarring on cheeks. I already own Nu Brilliance Microdermabrasion kit which I don't like from the very first first day. The suction never felt consistent, sometimes weak, sometimes caused dry patches on my skin. When I received this product from Totalbeauty to try and review as an all-star member, I wanted to give it a try although I already lost my interest in home products. This machine comes with different strength discs. Since I've had regular professional microdermabrasion treatments and peels, I started with the blue disk every 3-4 days knowing that my skin can handle this. But if you are a beginner, just follow the directions by heart because it is powerful enough to cause sand paper effect on your skin. (Bottomline, try it on your hands first.) So far, I used it 4 times. My European, light, sensitive aging skin becomes slightly red after each use but only lasted 5-10 minutes. I can't say that it caused miracles in such a short time but I have noticed my pores around my nose are getting smaller, my Urban Decay BB cream looks better and the redness on my cheeks is slightly going away. I am planning to use it regularly.

This is a great, expensive product that stays in my beauty drawer all the time. Whenever I need a glow on my skin, this is my one of the rarest poduct I have benn reaching. One side effect, the crystals are too harsh for my sensitive skin, it makes my skin all red for a few hours. That is why I am using it before bedtime. Instead of using it a couple of times a week, I stick with weekly usage beacuse too much exfoliation is not good for your skin in the long run. (that is what my dermatologist tells all the time) you can see the difference on your skin the next day but it is definitely not the same thing when you have a professional dermabrasion. Although they say home usage 3-4 times is equal to in office treatments, for me this is comparing apples and oranges. Especially if you are visiting a medical spa, the results can nort be compared. having said that, this is a very effective treatment for home use, maybe not for rosea skin or very sensitive skin. The price seems to be on the high side but you use very little product and it lasts for a long time. I remove one star for the price. (this is one of the products that you should try at home first to see how our skin reacts if you have a sensitive skin like mine)

It is a great product but if you have dry areas on your face, use it only once a week and don't forget to put moisturizer.

I don't like wearing sunscreens but this mineral powder sounded very easy to appy. I bought one, tried and did not like it at all. First of all, it is so drying, the brush itself is scratching my skin. I never understand how much I need to put on my face because sometimes the applicator lets me use a tiny amount, the other time it is too much product that it is everywhere, sink, my clothes... I decided to give it another try, got the powder out of the applicator and put it in one of my used mineral powder box. I was so suprised to see that the product was very very tiny. I gave it a try with my favorite brush but I did not like the feeling of it on my chest or my neck. I ended up throwing it to the garbage. The idea of mineral sunscreen is great but in real life, it is not practical at all. I like PTR products for sure but this one won't be on my list for sure.

I tried to use it on my face but it felt kind of greasy, I ended up using it for my body and it did the trick. It is great.

Recenetly I was breaking out very badly and this product saved my life through holiday season. Yes, I will definetely buy it again.
