I absolutely love this moisturizer! It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The only down side is that it kinda smells like baby powder.

Tried this on my bikini area. Had a bad reaction and ended up with painful razor burn all over. Definitely not for me.

I'm a daily shaver but I decided to try these wax strips since it has been a while since I gave it a try. I let the hair grow for a few days and then did a test spot like they suggest on the package. It didn't really do anything but I didn't have a bad reaction to the product so I decided to wait until the hair grew some more and try again. When it reached about 1/4" I gave the strips another go and this time it took off about 5 hairs. Also hurt a lot. Regardless, the package says the strips can be used more than once so I tried again on another area. Same thing happened. So I tried again in the first spot. It took off another 3 hairs and left a few of my pores bleeding. To clarify, yes I held the skin tight and pulled the strips against the direction of the hair growth. Needless to say I gave up since this was only hurting me and not working. The strips left a lot of goop on my skin that can only be removed with the oil based wipes they include in the package. The wipes cleaned up well but left my skin feeling greasy. By the next day my skin was very sore and covered in razor burn-like bumps. It took a few days for my skin to go back to normal. Definitely sticking to shaving from now on. At least when I use shaving cream, shaving doesn't give me razor burn!!!

I have to say that after using this palate for a few days, I’m rather impressed. Normally I use Urban Decay’s Naked palate, which is perfect for my olive skin. When I first looked at L’Oriel’s Nude palate I was nervous because none of the colors looked like they would be useful. The light base colors looked too light or too shiny and the darker ones seemed very dull. However, after cautiously applying the lightest pink, I was pleasantly surprised at how close it was to the natural skin color on my eyelids! I could barely tell that I was wearing any eye shadow at all, expect for the fact my skin had a more finished look. The darker colors are dull except for the few that are a bit shiny, however with a darker shade around them they look fine. Not exciting and not my favorites, but they work for a normal everyday look. Now I have to talk about the applicator brush and the fact that the brush has two different ends! One end is a small flat brush, and the other is one of those foam eye shadow applicators. Personally I hate the foam applicators. They never last very long and they are a pain to clean. However, I chose to use the foam for the base and the brush for the medium and darker colors. As I expected, the foam applicator wasn’t very useful and I had to add more and more eye shadow to the foam in order for it to stick to my eyelid properly. The brush end was also a bit frustrating to use for the medium base. Since the brush is so small and flexible, I had trouble getting the eye shadow the right thickness and exactly where I wanted it on my eyelid. That being said, when I again used the brush to apply the darker outline around my eyelid, the brush was magnificent! It was able to leave darker but subtle shading around my eyelid without getting any of the eye shadow all over my eyelid. This is a rare thing since even my Urban Decay eye shadow brush doesn’t do this and I always have to blend after I’ve finished applying eye shadow. So I have to say that I recommend this palate for everyday wear and again, I really like the brush for the finishing touches! However, you might want to use a different brush to apply your base and medium colors.
