I was looking to find a specific face tanner after having just been combining my moisturizer with regular tanning lotion for a while and getting some seriously clogged pores (yeah, I really wouldn't recommend that trick unless you're looking for blackheads, I knew it was a bad idea...). This is a very light lotion, no clogging, not overly shiny or greasy at all, and not too sparkly-bronzy -- but really, as someone who likes to be pretty tanned, this was a little too subtle for my taste. But a good product nonetheless.

Bumble and bumble Hair Powder

Good as root volumizer

So I bought this after the girl who did a fab job on my hair used it to add some volume at the roots -- no intentions of using it instead of shampooing or to color gray or anything. Definitely way overpriced and probably will not buy again, but as long as it lasts, it does help give me a little pick me up when my hair is flat, like in the morning if I showered the night before. I have light brown hair and my stylist actually said to just go with the White, and it's totally fine.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

this is a must-have

I LOVE this scrub -- having lived in a house with eight girls last year at school I have tried tons of them, and this is my fave. I have the blackhead/blemish control variety, and while admittedly those will never seem to fully disappear, I use this several times a week and it makes my skin perfectly clean, not over-dried (and I have dry skin), and refreshed. And it's cheap.
