  • L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Smooth Intense Frizz Taming Serum

I have used this product in the winter, spring, and summer to see if the changing levels of humidity might make this product work any better or worse. I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what the weather is, or the quality of your air is like, this product doesn't do what it claims it does. I grabbed this as a last minute impulse buy because I had a case of the frizz and my little flyaways were driving me crazy. I'm begining to think L'oreal products don't work on my hair. All this serum did was make my hair kind of greasy. It might have tamed my frizz a little, but so would a little hairspray or a water bottle. There are better serums out there. I should have spent the extra 4$ and got my John Frieda. Oh well, live and learn. Save your money for something better.

  • L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Skin Recharger Day/Night Cream

I needed a refill of my Revitalift and my boyfriend got me Youth Code instead. I thought, since I have minimal fine lines and wrinkles, this might be a more appropriate product. I didn't see any positive difference in my skin. It actually felt drier and I had to use A LOT more product to have the cream sink in. So... If you like a light moisturizer you can use day & night, you will probably like Youth Code. I can't attest for how well it works as far as Anti-Aging goes, but I can tell you that I didn't see any difference in my skin for the 1 1/2 months I was using it. There was NO FIRMING or LIFTING results that I could see. There is one bonus with this product which is that it is a fine moisturizer for sensitive skin. It's definitely non-greasy, which I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate. But those of you with Dry skin will notice this product does not sink into your skin like Revitalift. I take one star off for the price. This is a good, basic, non-greasy, neutral smelling moisturizer that works for those with sensitive skin... but if you are looking for something better, I think you will get more bang for your buck with Revitalift.

  • Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil

Good stuff tho a little greasy

I have dry feet that drive me CRAZY. I have to use my pedi-egg every time I shower and even then their are rouch spots that refuse to go away. I was using BB coconut foot "cream" and I liked how well it moisturized. So I read about this apricot oil on totalbeauty's best lotions under 10$. I got this for about 6$ at Kinneys. It's in a plastic bottle with a flimsy top. Some of them were leaking product... so be careful with yours if you buy some. Make sure the top is on tight and snapped shut! I think this oil penetrates better than the coconut foot cream. I still can't use just this alone. I follow it up w/ my current decent lotion, Gold Bond healing. I put this oil everywhere, not just the feet. Use it on cuticles, hands and elbows. It is kinda greasy... I mean, it's an oil so that's to be expected. It soaks into the skin pretty well and smells nice. Nothing overpowering but definitely noticeable. My boyfriend mentioned he liked the smell. I love that everything is all natural. All in all, this is a great product for the price you pay, but girls w/ super dry feet like me, you will want to follow up w/ your favorite lotion. It won't soak through your socks BUT it will leave footprints on your hardwood floors, so be careful bc oil is not easy to get out once it's penetrated the wood. I will most likely buy this again.

  • Degree Women Expert Protection MotionSense Antiperspirant & Deodorant Invisible Solid

I'm very picky about my deodorants. I take medication that causes me to get hot flashes and perspire more than I think most people do. It's not just being sweaty, it's also a chemical thing and the one thing I can't stand is BO. While at a friends house, he was a boy, I used his deodorant in a moment of desperation. To my surprise it didn't just work while we were hanging out. It worked ALL DAY. I hadn't really noticed what the brand of deodorant was until the next time I snuck into his bathroom and checked it out. It was degree. Huh. I had written that stuff off forever ago but now I wanted to buy a cartload of the stuff. I didn't want to smell like a boy (though I would recommend it to all girlfriends w/ smelly boyfriends- or girls that don't like "girly" smells) so I bought the "Fresh Energy" scented one for girls. Smells great and works like a dream. Now I can actually wear a shirt and not have it smell like armpit! Sorry if I gross you out but I KNOW there are girl's and guy's out there with this problem. I used to use Secret w/ olay but now I only use this. It's all I need. "Fresh Energy" smells great, like fruity bath-soap and something else... I have found that the "Cotton Fresh" doesn't have the staying power that "Fresh Energy" has. I've had to reapply that one a couple times a day. So I recommend buying "Fresh Energy."

  • Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal

I'm not an eye-liner girl. I have always wanted to be, but I have deep set eyes that do not get along well with it. Every liner I have tried either doesn't have the pigmentation I need, hurts my eyes to apply, or smudges ALL OVER the place. In my creases, under my eyes and sometimes down my cheeks. This eyeliner has become my holy grail. I love it so much I got it in as many colors as I could. So far I have sparkling black (I LOVE the glitter and it doesn't get in your eyes!), Silver, and taupe. I wish they had more sparkly ones or more in different colors but no drugstore eyeliner is perfect. This one is VERY close to perfection. I even gave it 10 stars despite the fact it is ridiculously hard to sharpen without wasting some of the product. Seriously I have used three different sharpeners with the same messy results:( If Rimmel comes out with a sharpener specifically designed for these pencils I would give this eyeliner 11 stars.

  • L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Night Cream

Before this cream I used Estee Lauder resilience lift night cream and one of the Olay creams. I love the Estee Lauder but it was SOOO expensive. The Olay one was greasy and broke me out. I was weary about trying another drugstore brand night cream but I think I found a winner. This cream isn't just for "mature" skin. I'm 30 w/ sensitive skin on the dryer side and this cream makes my face feel soft as butter. I don't know how "anti-wrinkle" or lifting it is because I don't really have any of those YET- and I'd like to think this cream has helped to keep them away. It is THICK,, so a little goes a long way. Whatever extra product I have upon application, I use as an eye cream and a hand cream. My boyfriend did say something about the smell and he can hardly smell anything. He didn't say it was bad but since HE noticed it, people might get turned off if they have sensitive noses. The scent doesn't last long. Once it's absorbed into your skin you hardly notice it.

  • Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
    2.0

    Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

    I hate this product

I don't understand all the rave reviews or HOW total beauty could give this an award. It did not work AT ALL for my dry, peeling lips. It actually made them WORSE. It moisturizes while your putting it on but it doesn't penetrate your lips. Pretty much comes right off and I swear something about this lip balm dried my lips out. I actually avoid any lip product with peppermint oil in it because I'm afraid it will do what this lip balm did. And I like the smell of peppermint. I give this 2 stars because I like the smell, but I'm going back to my Blistex medicated and carmex for my moisturizing and healing needs.

  • Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme

It is misleading to call this a foot "cream" because there is noting creamy about it. This is most definately an oil. It's like baby oil you put on after taking a shower. If you are looking for something creamy, you will be shocked and disappointed by this product. If you are looking for something that moisturizes feet, this OIL will do that for you. I got a started kit from my secret santa and so far THIS is the product I am almost out of. It's not a use-every-day oil. Use it when you get out of the shower and have a pair of socks nearby because if you don't, you will be leaving greasy footprints on your floor! I like it, I like the smell, I like what it does, but it should not be labeled a foot "cream."

  • Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

I have sensitive skin and I LOVE this moisturizer! I've used many different kinds and never thought enything could replace my Estee Lauder Daywear cream but this moisturizer is a contender. I love that it has SPF and it doesn't break me out. It gives me a nice glow and baby soft skin.

  • TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Reconstructor
    7.0

TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Reconstructor

    Use it for deep conditioning

I agree with the reviewer who said they use it as a mask. I would not use this every day but as a once a week conditioner this works very well. Consistency is similar to the hair conditioners that come in a box of hair dye. Thick and creamy. I don't love the smell because it smells like pineapples, but it doesn't smell bad after your hair dries. If you are an oily haired blonde, I wouldn't recommend this but any other type I would say go for it. It's kind of pricey but it doesn't strip your color, make you brassy, and does a decent job conditioning it
