The Essie Luxeffects glitter top coat polish is a fun product to try for a different kind of look. For me, the only thing that keeps me from loving the product is that it kind of looks at first glance like I have polish that is just chipping away since the glitter flecks are scattered around my nails. I have not tried it over a dark base coat, but I think at least for me that might make it look a little better (as in, it might stand out more). Also, I tried the pink glitter, but a darker shade of glitter might actually show up better on my already pink-hued nails. It applies well and dries very quickly…and it seems to set nice and hard. It also lasts a while without chipping or peeling. I can’t wait to share it with my little niece who loves to paint her nails because I think she’ll absolutely love it.

I never used to wear eye liner but this product has converted me! I find that it goes on easily, lets you smudge it to soften it in (if you do it right away), and it lasts a long time on my. After it sets in it will not budge, but it still washes away easily when you are ready to. I do not heavily line my eyes, but for a little something extra, it is a great eye liner. And, for someone like me who is new to lining my eyes, I think it is very easy to apply. I do wish I could get the point a little sharper…sometimes it seems a little too flat or dull as it comes out, but it is also handy that you do not actually need a sharpener to use it…you just twist the handle. I absolutely love it and plan to buy more in all the different colors it is available in.

I love the way this lip stain is so easily applied. It goes on extremely smoothly and evenly. I find it adds a good amount of moisture to my lips. It does rub off on things and does not last as long as other lip tints that I have tried, but it gets lots of bonus points from me for being made of natural ingredients (especially as other companies have been in the news lately for having lead in their lipstick!). It also has a slight subtle minty taste which is quite pleasant. I wish it came in more shades…some don’t quite look right on me (they seem to be a little too pink). The packaging is kind of fun…it looks like a giant crayon…but in some ways it is a little big and would be nice if it was a little smaller so that it fit in your purse or make up case a little better.

I like this product in terms of how it feels when it goes on. I don't think that I've noticed a big effect on my skin from using it. The scent is somewhat unpleasant to me, but it doesn't linger so it wouldn't prevent me from using it.

I liked this product overall but did find that at the end of the day if I rubbed my eyes it would come off...which is good if you are trying to remove it but bad if you don't...then you just have black 'strings' all around your eyes.
