I'm the current executive editor of TotalBeauty.com and was previously the beauty director at "Seventeen" magazine and the beauty editor of the now retired "CosmoGIRL" (sniff).

I'm blonde, have medium-thick, wavy, frizzy hair and fair skin. I'm obsessed with any product that will protect my skin from sun damage and reverse the damage that's been done from years of growing up in the Southern California sunshine. But I'm not totally boring (well, at least I HOPE I'm not), I'm also completely obsessed with trying every mascara I can get my manicured fingers on (so yes, nail polish is also a fave of mine) and am always on the quest for the next best foundation.

I'm married, have two dogs -- who also appreciate quality beauty products (little Tex has dry, sensitive skin and must be very careful with the shampoos he uses) and love to educate women about all things beauty -- it's kind of an illness.
