  • L'Oreal Paris Collagen Micro-Pulse Eye Total Eye Correction System

I received this product free from BzzAgent. I used the micro-pulse attachment one time, but saw how it was tugging at the skin under my eyes, and since that could be detrimental long term, I resorted to using the serum w/o the micro-pulse attachment. The serum spread easily and absorbed well into my skin. It was compatible with my cosmetics, and I didn't experience any irritation. I haven't seen any improvements in my fine lines for the month I've been using it. The formula isn't too exciting - it doesn't contain appreciable amounts of any active compounds, which is disappointing since I think L'Oreal really could do better. I'm a huge fan of L'Oreal cosmetics, but this product is not a must have for me. I'll stick with retinoids since they have offered me visible proof that they diminish my fine lines.

light hold that keeps hair tame and soft

As a BzzAgent, I received a coupon to try this for free. I used it in place of hairspray, and it held my style while keeping my hair touchably soft. I used it to control frizzies when I pulled my hair back, and it kept stray hairs in place. It has a really nice fragrance.

    Tames frizzies without being greasy

As a BzzAgent, I received a sample of this product to try for free. This product performed as promised, making my hair smooth and shiny yet not greasy. I used it instead of conditioner, working it through my damp hair. It smells great, and is less expensive than similar products you can buy at the salon. I will purchase this again.

  • CoverGirl ShineBlast Lipgloss

    CoverGirl ShineBlast Lipgloss

    Wish the color lasted longer

I received this in "smolder", free from BzzAgent. The color is neutral, almost flesh toned, and not too pink or peach. It does not have too much shimmer or sparkle when applied, although it looked very pearlescent in the tube. The shine is pretty intense right away, and it is wet without being too sticky. Overall, it felt nice on my lips. It wears off within an about two hours. The sponge tipped applicator wand is slightly angled, and it is much easier to use than straight sponge tipped applicators. The applicator dispenses the perfect amount of product, so I didn’t have to double dip. The gloss smells like watermelon. The price of this lip gloss is higher than I expected considering how it performs, so if it were a little cheaper, I’d give it a higher rating.

    Needs to be reformulated

I received this product in silver sky, free from BzzAgent. The blunt end (lid to brow bone), is silver and the pointed end (liner and crease) is a dark plum. It did not live up to the hype. It is not very heavily pigmented, so multiple layers are necessary in order to accumulate enough color. The color does not deposit on your eyelids very easily. I had to press too hard to apply the color. I was afraid that I would either break the stick or end up with wrinkles due to all of the tugging on my eyelids. I applied both step 1 and step 2, and the colors blended nicely and complemented each other, but about an hour later, it started to crease and look really bad. The next time I skipped applying the dark plum to my crease, and only applied it as a liner in addition to the silver on the lid. It creased again. I never have a problem with powder shadows creasing. I am not interested in using primer before applying this - I expect the makeup to perform on its own. I would purchase it again if the formula were improved – it is a great concept.
