I really like this product. The packaging is great because it's a screw-top lid (no accidental lid popping off and the powdery contents going everywear). Aveda's color, Teak, is great for Summer because it gives a slightly sun-kissed wash of color BUT it's NOT for everyone...or every time of the year. I tried using Teak in the winter when I am super white and it just looks weird so opt for the translucent.

I am a complete oil slick. I've tried various powder, stick, and cream eyeshadows but I always ended up with those icky creases, or completely absent color in less than two hours; not to mention a reaction to an ingredient. This product is the best that I've come across so far. Down side...it only comes in 3 colors, BUT it's a good base for other eyeshadows.

Not only are the colors VERY complimentary to a wide array of skin tones, but it has extra SPF. I LOVE this stuff and own Peony, Copper, Apricot, and Spice. Replace all of those colorless tubes of Chapstick with One (if not more b/c they are addictive) tube of the Aveda Lip Tint SPF 15.

OK so $60 for less than 2 fl. oz. is crazy right? But I'm still working on my purshase from 2 months ago (I still have half the bottle). It smells divine and is super light weight for those with combo or oily skin with lots of sensitivity. I do mix it with some SPF in the morning so that I'm covered. Will I buy it again? I'm a Dr. Weil fan but I think I might try the Organic line after this is done.

Why?!?! It gives that tingly "feel-good" sensation like Carmex, PLUS you have loads of sheer color to choose from. Great for everyday wear.

Origins Precipitation Extra Continuous Moisture Recovery
Loads of Extra Moisture with Loads of Extra Ingredients
I LOVE Origins, yet I'm simple. Wish the ingredient list was a little less extensive. However, the product works especially well after hours of sun-worshipping. The tub is extra-large and does last extra long, so if you have some extra $$$ lying around and would like to treat yourself to some extra moisture give this a go!!!
