I thought this foundation was just ok. While I never used it wet, I can say that dry it was a heavy coverage powder foundation. I picked this up in the color Ginger, which turned out to be too orange for me. Throughout the day, though it did not turn more orange on me, it left my skin oily and shiny. This was within a few hours of putting it on. It never made me more 'luminous' or anything. I would not buy this foundation again because it was not worth the price of the powder, plus the compact I had to buy to go with it. I am very underwhelmed by the product. I gave it three stars for the ease of application, the smell, and the heavy coverage, which is a plus.

I love these palettes. I own all three permanent ones, and one of the limited edition holiday ones. These shadows are soft and easy to blend. Best of all they are way more pigmented than you would find most drugstore shadows to be. The only complaint I would have with these shadows is that the color range is not that great. They have mostly neutrals in the palettes, but they are so versatile you will want to wear them everyday. One palette runs about $3.99 in the US, and for 8 wonderful shadows (in one palette), it is worth the price.

I am a Medium/Deep with the dial turned to three for reference. I at first did not like this foundation because I was used to my Revlon ColorStay which went on thick and sometimes mask-like. After trying this foundation out for a week, I continued to use it daily. This foundation has medium to full coverage and does not appear mask-like at all. The custom dial is useful, especially since summer is coming up and I will be a shade darker. I will not have to go out and buy a new foundation for once. The one thing I worry about is the chambers running out at different times. Though I am at a three and the foundation comes out evenly, when I move to four it will be a concern. Otherwise, great foundation!

When it comes to MAC Mineralized Skinfinishes it has been hit or miss for me. Well, mostly miss. I am an NC42 and have every one of them from the Lingerie collection until the N collection. The only one that I like is Petticoat because it is a pretty pink that actually shows up on me. Most of the MSFs that got released during that time were either all bronze/brown colored which got boring or light pink, which doesn't show up on my skin. To be fair they did release a yellow looking one that worked as a highlighter, but other than that, its brown or light, light pink. I think maybe the older ones were better, like Stereo Rose or Pleasureflush, but I have yet to try them. Most of the ones I have are full of chunky glitter and make my oily skin look even more oily with the shine that they give. The worse part is, all that shows up is the chunky glitter and shine, not any of the color. I would not recommend these, even though I am a MAC fan.
