  • Revlon Amber Waves Ceramic Flat Iron

I can go from wavy to straight in under 20 minutes with this miracle maker. Other straighteners I have used I have to go over each strand two or three times. With the adjustable temperature, I can set this straightener so that I only have to pass over once. Used with a straightening oil, my hair stays straight and frizz free for days. The rounded side also allows for easy flips on the ends. Very reasonable price too!

  • Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner for Color Treated or Permed Hair

This product smells nice and is a reasonable price. But if you're looking for high performance as far as improving the condition of your hair, this one ranks somewhere in the middle of the pack. It did the job, but I wasn't wowed.

    Arrid Extra Dry Clear Gel

    works well but dries slowly

This product works really well. I "run hot" and have a problem with sweating. This product keeps wetness and odor under control. The only problem is that it takes a long time to dry after you put in on because it's a goopy gel. If you have the foresight and patience to put the product on ten or more minutes before you get dressed, this is definitely the best product out there. If you like to apply and get dressed and go right away, I would recommend this one.

    Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo

    Funky smell but great results!

I have had severe dandruff my whole life and this is the only dandruff shampoo that I have ever used that works. It also gets your hair really clean so your other products don't build up on your hair. The only bad thing is that it smells kind of bad, but it's not unbearable. I just use a really nice smelling conditioner after. Ha ha, I was nervous about my head smelling bad so I asked a friend and she said that she couldn't tell my shampoo stunk.

  • Clinique High Definition Lashes Brush Then Comb Mascara

I had raccoon eyes after one two hours. I was very impressed when I put it on because it looked great. But after only two hours, it all slid down onto my cheeks. It wasn't even a hot or humid day. Perhaps this product would work better if I didn't have oily skin or eyes that are naturally highly lubricated.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Good for body, bad for face

This product is too abrasive for your face. I also thought that it left a film on my face which I don't like because I'm prone to breakouts. On the plus side, since I couldn't use it on my face, I used it on the rest of my body and my feet and liked it. But as a facial exfoliant, I have to say pass.

  • Mary Kay TimeWise Firming Eye Cream

I just started using this a week ago and am already very impressed with the results. You hardly need to use any to get great results. I'm in my early 30s so my fine lines and concerns aren't huge, but I have already seen a big difference in the "crepey" effect and bags I get when I haven't had enough sleep. I think I look refreshed and younger and hope to get continual improvements.

  • Mary Kay TimeWise Age-Fighting Eye Cream

This eye cream was okay, not overly impressive. I felt like it provided good moisture, but it didn't really help with things like under-eye bags or fine lines. I'm in my early 30s so maybe this product is for younger people.

  • Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

This is the only lip balm I will use. I have a problem with other balms making my lips crack. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction or what. Burt's Bees does not irritate and has that nice peppermint tingle and moisture that lasts. I only apply at night before I go to bed and do not have the need to apply through out the day. The stick (shown in photo) is good for your purse but his also comes in a pot which is harder to apply, but is cheaper per volume,

  • Mary Kay Eye Primer

    Mary Kay Eye Primer

I never thought I would be able to wear eye shadow!

I have very oily skin/eyelids and am of asian decent. Until I found this little miracle product, I didn't think I would ever be able to wear eye shadow because of the dreaded "crease". Now I'm completely addicted. I can wear this literally all day and all night and not have a problem. It also insures even coloration and you can use less shadow. Pat a little on, let dry for a minute (if you can, dry with your eyes closed for better results) and apply shadow. Easy to remove.
