  • L'Oreal Paris Everstrong Hydrate Shampoo

i like this shampoo overall because it is sulfate free and doesn't make my hair feel like straw when i wash it out. the formula is very creamy and thick, which feels moisturizing. the minty juniper in the shampoo makes for a refreshing wash that only feels tingly the first few times you use it (your scalp gets used to it after a while and the tingles go away). i've been using sulfate free shampoos for over a year now and my hair has become stronger and more resilient to split ends. i go longer without split ends. i would recommend this shampoo to anyone who wants to keep their hair moisturized, shiny and healthy or anyone who is trying to rehabilitate damaged hair. and for the price it isn't bad, especially since ULTA and CVS usually have deals like buy one get one half off.

  • Clean & Clear Morning Burst Fruit Infusions Facial Cleanser

i have very dry, acne prone skin. for the longest time i was using toner to treat my acne, but that just dried out my skin and my skin would overproduce oil to compensate for the drying effect of toner. i thought that i needed toner to dry out my pimples, but it was backfiring on me. then, i read an article that explained the error of my ways and i realized i needed to start moisturizing my skin instead. i stumbled upon this cleanser at ULTA and i bought it on a whim because of the pretty packaging, the cheap price, and the fact that it was a hydrating cleanser. i ended up buying the yellow bottle, which is the hydrating one. the formula is very creamy and it smells deliciously fruity! it has soothing moisturizing ingredients like pineapple, strawberry, coconut, and acai (maybe that's why it smells so yummy!). you can find the occasional strawberry seed in it, so it won't scratch your skin or be super exfoliating. i noticed a HUGE difference in my skin within a few days of using it. my skin used to always feel squeaky and rubbery after i washed my face, but with this, it just felt...normal! my skin feels clean and hydrated when i use this cleanser. i am simply in love with it! also, my skin has cleared up tremendously. my acne diminished because my skin is hydrated and not super dried out. and for the price, you get SO much product. the packaging is awesome. the pump makes it easy to dispense and gauge how much you need. also, you get 9 fl oz, that's more than most cleansers! i've had it already for 6 months and i'm only about halfway done with the bottle. so, if you're not allergic to the fruits in the ingredients and you have dry skin, this is a definite must have! i don't see myself changing cleansers for a long while.

  • Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion
    7.0

    Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion

    easy sun protection, OK moisturizer

this lotion is great for easy every day sun protection. as we all know, prevention is key and the sun can cause premature wrinkles. this lotion isn't as thick as a sunscreen, which is perfect for daily application. it's actually somewhat runny, so it doesn't leave your skin oily at all. it's a happy medium between sunscreen and a daily moisturizer. i would recommend this for people with dry skin, like myself, because it isn't irritating. it does what it claims, which is to protect. i like that it has an spf of 30, which is higher than most daily moisturizers. good thing they advertise this as something for protection and not really moisturization because i think this lotion isn't extremely moisturizing. since the formula is thin, it doesn't completely moisturize dry skin. it would probably work better for people with oily skin. i find myself having to apply a second moisturizer with this, which is quite annoying. when i wash my face, i pat dry then i apply this and then my nivea cream and then i start on my foundation. it's a little pricey at almost ten dollars in most stores and i don't think i would repurchase this because it's not that much of a 2 in 1 product. i might as well just wear a sunscreen under my moisturizer! which would be a cheaper option! it's simply....OK....

  • Maybelline New York Fit Me! Bronzer

this bronzer is seriously lacking. i purchsed it because it was on sale at ulta for cheap and i had a $1 off maybelline fit me products coupon. good thing i paid so little for this because it is not a good quality bronzer! first of all, i am a hispanic somewhat tan female. this bronzer is not pigmented enough to give me a bronze glow or even contour. i chose the darkest shade offered, but it did not show up on my skin. i would have to pile this on to even see some kind of result, which as we all know piling on powder can look cakey and gross! i wouldn't even recommend this for a lighter skinned, white person because i saw a video on youtube of a girl with light skin and she also said that it didn't show up on her skin. this bronzer is seriously a disappointment. i am going to keep using my hoola benefit bronzer and too faced chocolate soleil. please don't waste your money on this! you won't even see it on your face! the packaging is also very flimsy. after a week of using it, the plastic lid cover broke off. after dropping it just one time, the powder cracked and i was left with half the amount of product i paid for. yes, i was clumsy but i have dropped other powders before without having them break. i blame the flimsy packaging for breaking the product! this product is just a total overall fail! it is overpriced. it should be two cents for its lack of quality. i tried to be creative and still salvage this product but i can't even use this as a shimmery eyeshadow because it's so sheer. just awful!

  • Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Body Lotion
    10.0

Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Body Lotion

best bath and body works scent

this is the best bath and body works scent of all time! i love its sexy seductive scent. dark kiss has been my favorite scent ever since its release. i think its perfect for day or night. i first tried it out by using the lotion. it's got all the moisturizing and smoothing properties of a lotion but with a stronger than normal scent. i've noticed that the dark kiss lotion has a stronger scent than any other of the bath and body works lotions. i once applied it to my arms and hands and walked into a room and everyone could smell me! my friend from across the room said she could smell me as soon as i walked in. this lotion has the potency of a perfume. i love this stuff! it leaves your skin moisturized and smelling date-ready. i would definitely recommend if you like the some-what runny consistency of a lotion and don't have super dry skin. otherwise, the body butter is more moisturizing and perfect for dry skin. it's also super scented!

  • Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel

bath and body works pocketbac are some of my favorite hand sanitizers! bath and body works really knows how to mask that nasty alcohol scent a lot of hand sanitizers have. every time i use my bath and body works hand sanitizer i get a compliment or someone notices. they are really strongly scented enough that someone can smell them on the other side of a room. your hands will be nicely scented. also, because of the beads i noticed that my hands aren't too dry after i use this. if my hands are already dry, they tend to emphasize the dryness in my hands and i need to follow with a lotion. but if my hands are normal, they don't make them dry. i like how small the containers are and that its easy to carry one in virtually any and all of your bags. but the downside is that these sanitizers are a little pricey if you don't get them on sale or for free. i feel that a dollar and fifty cents plus tax for a small sanitizer is a lot! i've gotten a bigger size from the drugstore for the same price. without considering the price, they're pretty good! they get the job done and if your hands are dirty and smelly, these sanitizers do the trick!

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Travel-Size Body Lotion

i like these lotions because i can carry them in my purse, book bag, travel bag, and even carry on bag. they are really great miniature sized versions of the bigger bottles without compromising the amount of delicious scent you get! i don't particularly like the price of these. they're usually very expensive if you don't get them on sale or for free because of a promotion. i've found great drugstore versions that are even more moisturizing than these and much cheaper. for example, the nivea tin for 99 cents. these lotions tend to dry and absorb into the skin very quickly, which sometimes leaves my skin still dry. i've found that results vary depending on the fragrance. some formula are more runny than others. overall, these are handy dandy lotions that provide decent moisture on a random day and smell great.

  • Victoria's Secret Angel Fragrance Mist

first of all, the packaging is stunning. i thought this was glass when i first received it, but its actually in a plastic container. it looks gorgeous on my perfume shelf. the fragrance is seductive and sexy. it has notes of "sparkling plum, sheer violet and amber" that can be worn day or night. and because it's a mist, you really can't go overboard with your spritzes! i always get compliments when I wear this. my roommate even tried to steal it from me! i love this over floral fragrance. it's totally feminine and perfect for occasion. this was seriously one of my favorite christmas presents that i received! thanks total beauty!

  • Sally Hershberger Go With the Blow

unfortunately this did not work for me! i used it on my damp hair and then blow dried my hair with a round brush. i got an alright result, my hair wasn't too frizzy and it looked good and shiny. i even didn't notice my split ends too much. the major downside was that my hair felt dry, like straw. i felt like i stretched it out way too much or something. it had a somewhat hard, squeaky, crunchy texture and i was afraid to put it up in a ponytail. i knew a girl with straight hair who loved this and it worked great for her. i have naturally curly hair and usually blow dry creams work best for me. this was more like a serum. maybe this product just isn't meant for curly haired people.
