Cetaphil was recommended by my dermatologist because it is gentle (I was using too many harsh treatments/cleansers, which were actually aggravating breakouts rather than helping them). However, I notice that it's hard to get make-up off using Cetaphil. I recently got a facial and the woman agreed that Cetaphil's gentleness is great, but that something more is needed to really remove makeup well. I still use it, but only after using a make-up removing cloth.

I like this lipgloss and have now gone through several tubes. Not too terribly sticky, given how much shine you get. Great that it has SPF, and a good color selection. For me, it's the perfect blend of subtle color and nice shine.

Great concealer, if applied with a brush (a good brush from MAC is what I use). Works well on redness (zits), and under-eye circles too. Love that it includes SPF - that's particularly helpful for the undereye area.

Best moisturizer I've found, for dry skin that paradoxically (and frustratingly) has a tendency to break out. This stuff is great, and I've been using it for about a year. Love the thick, but non-greasy consistency. Moisturizes wonderfully and doesn't make me break out. Also, no fragrance -- which is nice.

This is the best styling product I've found for my hair. I have fine hair, and Grooming Creme gives me great hold without weighing my hair down or making it sticky/clumpy. It's not cheap, but it works really well.

I have used these in the past and done okay with them. But I recently bought a package and am struggling -- my skin gets red and stings after using them. I'm not sure if the formulation changed, or if my skin is getting more sensitive for some reason, but I'm not able to finish the package, due to irritation. I'll probably use the rest on my chest/back, so I don't end up wasting them.

I've done professional whitening (gel) before, and it worked beautifully. Since that time, Crest white strips have come to market. Nowadays, my dentist (a good guy) actually recommends Crest strips over the professional option (that he offers) because the results are almost as good and the price is so much lower. I have several friends who've used the Crest strips, and I've seen wonderful improvements. I use them too, for touch-ups. Only caveat is that people with sensitive teeth will probably experience some pain.
