This is a quality shampoo, and it is somewhat color-enhancing, but I found it far from ideal for chemically treated hair. In fairness, this product does not claim to be for dyed, damaged hair. I am not a natural redhead, and because red hair color has to be "refreshed" so often, I need a super-gentle shampoo. I didn't love the scent, either--it sort of reminded me of kids' strawberry bubble bath. I use this sort of like a "clarifying" shampoo, a day or two before I color if I'm getting some product buildup.

I absolutely loved this shampoo and the conditioner the first time I tried them. I immediately bought several extra bottles, since this is not for sale in my area. Unlike the other two reviewers, while my hair is baby-fine, there is a LOT of it, so after using this for an extended period of time, my hair started to feel heavy and weighed down. This WILL thicken the hair shaft, no question about that. The price is pretty decent, although the bottle is not large. I no longer use this every day, only when my hair is feeling really flat and staticy.

I live in the desert, and it's a constant battle to stay hydrated. My lips are constantly chapped and peeling. This product feels very light on the lips, and it works beautifully. I will be buying many more of these both for myself and as gifts.

I have never been able to wear mascara--whatever the claims of "no flaking, waterproof, sweatproof, rubproof" NO. I inevitably end up with raccoon eyes. This mascara does exactly what it says, end of story. It IS expensive, but for people like me, it's the only option. I love it. Incidentally, I have a slight Asian fold over my eyelid--this may be why my eye makeup always slides off, and why this is a favorite of Lucy Liu!

My eye makeup ALWAYS ends up under my eyes by the end of the day. This stays exactly where I put it--along the lash line--does not smudge, does not move, end of story. You do need a practiced hand, however, because you can't "smudge" this product. The line you make is the line you've got. I found that it does slide right off, all in one piece, like a little plastic strip, with warm water and a little pressure. This lasts a LONG time--it takes so little to line the upper lid, and the package is larger than most liquid liners. However, the fact that it's packaged like a mascara means that when you pull the brush out, there's a lot of product on the brush and the stem of the wand, and I find that I waste a lot wiping off the excess. I would recommend buying a separate liner brush.

Gerda Spillmann Swiss Cosmetics Gerda Spillman Swiss Cosmestic Bio-Fond Cream Foundation
Excellent coverage, light feel
I just ordered a compact of this after trying several samples--the coverage is flawless--no concealer necessary!, but the feel on the skin is very light. I have worn only mineral powder foundation for some time now because my skins is very sensitive to makeup and will break out at the slightest provocation. This foundation did not settle into the fine lines on my forehead, or accentuate them like many mineral powders do. I'm looking forward to seeing how this performs long-term. It "sticks" to the face well and does not slide around. My only complaint is that there is no list of ingredients on the web site OR the sample packaging, so I really can't tell if the product contains anything that will irritate my skin. It also makes the "all natural" claim impossible to validate.

I used both this and the conditioner and did not notice much volumizing effect on my super fine but thick hair. My hair was very healthy to begin with, perhaps this is better if your hair is damaged.

Like most Ojon products, this comes with a "learning curve". Don't just throw it on like anything you've used before--you have to warm a pea-sized amount in your hands and then emulsify by adding a little water (these are the instructions on the back of the bottle) and I find this is absolutely necessary in order to get the promised performance of the product. Too much will make your hair sticky and greasy AND attract dirt so it will be dull until it's washed out. It is expensive, like any Ojon product, but it lasts forever in the hair and you use such a tiny amount that the price probably comes out even in the end with drugstore brands.

This is very different from any hairsprays or root lifters I've used in the past--the texture in the hair is less stiff, and more tacky-feeling. The smell is strange at first, but then it disperses and you just smell the Ojon oil, which is lovely. I've found that I have to be careful with it--too much will actually start to weigh hair down! It is very long-wearing, keeps down the frizz, but the "tacky" feel on my hands was hard to get used to. You can't just brush it out like an ordinary hairspray--it's on until you wash it out. I found this a bit too expensive, although I'm a fan of the Ojon line.
