I'm a woman who would take off about 1/2 off my skin with peels and microdermabrasion if I could! I love the look of a freshly-exfoliated face. Glowy, dewy, smooth and fresh. So, I'm pretty well-versed in the peel area. I had heard great things about this peel...so when I saw it on sale at CVS I jumped at the chance. I hadn't been to get a peel from my facialist in a while, so that night I jumped right in and gave it a try. I love this stuff! My skin was bright, smooth as a baby's behind and nice and dewy looking. There was no redness, no peeling, no flaking...just my skin only better! I actually think this stuff is so amazing I haven't been back to a pro for a peel yet! It really is that good!!! My results were just as good as when I go see someone- minus the redness and blotchiness and peeling!!! Just keep one thing in mind...you CANNOT use any other sort of exfoliating products within 24 hours before or after using this stuff...it'll damage your skin...so lay of your other buffers. Plus remember to moisturize really well after using and use plenty of high-SPF sunscreen for the next couple of days. I'm in love!

So just like many reviewers here, I received this as a sample that they were pushing last month online. I was more than excited when it arrived. I'm a mascara freak! Love it. Layer it. It's the one would-not-be-without beauty product for me. I have long, thick, black, double-layered lashes on top and bottom. I'm genetically blessed...but I LOVE playing it up and receiving complements on my lashes. My objective with a mascara is to lengthen, thicken and darken my lashes without it rubbing or falling off and without giving me a "fake" too-thick and clumpy look. I was excited about trying this for my summer mascara while on the beach, at the pool or just out in the heat. I was pretty disappointed with this. It didn't rub or fall off...in fact my best eye makeup remover wouldn't budge it!!! Not good. Plus, while it had a great brush, the application was gloppy and my lashes were really lengthened...but not thickened. They were glossy and black (which is good), but really missed on the thickening end of things. I'll stick with my tried-and-true holy grail: DiorShow.

Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer
After being a Turnaround CREAM addict- I've switched! Love this!
Okay. I have been a Turnarounc CREAM addict since I was a teen. Last time I went to stock-up on it, the saleslady tried to talk me into the Concentrate. I told her not to mess with me (in a nice way)...I loved the CREAM and was not changing. She told me she used to be like me and was now hooked on the Concentrate. She gave me a sample, sold me the cream and I went on my way. A few weeks ago I finally tried the sample. I used after cleansing and toning. I put nothing else on with it. I wanted to see if this stuff really worked. I'm telling you, the results were amazing. Just like the cream it softens and smooths the texture of my skin and takes the top layers off for a kid-like glow. My skin was brighter, smoother, softer and blemish-free for the week I used it. Plus...and here's the selling point to me...I was less oily throughout the day, used a lot less of it than I did cream AND am now noticing a reduction in age spots and wrinkles that I did not notice with the cream!!! I suppose you could say I'm an addict who has moved on. Turnaround Cream was my "gateway" drug to Turnaround Concentrate...the best multi-purpose anti-aging product I've found!!! :)

I will never switch shampoos again (as long ans L'Oreal doesn't change Vive Pro)!!! I'd heard all of the fuss over this product and when I needed some new shampoo I happened to find a coupon for the shampoo conditioner and decided to give it a try. First of all, when I got to CVS I realized it was on sale...so with the coupons I'd be paying LESS than a dollar a bottle for each! Score! Then I had to find the right formula for me. My hair's really flat and lifeless when air-dryed...so I went for this volumizing formula. As soon as I got in the shower and poured this into my hands I was happy. I love the smell! It was rich and took very little product even for my really long hair. I also used the Vive Pro volumizing conditioner. After towel drying my hair I added some smoother for my fly-aways and blew dry. I always dry my hair striaght. I loved the texture and look of my hair when I was done. I tell you I did get volume and body! Plus my hair smelled great (my hubby even mentioned it) and felt super-soft. It's not often you get that combo...body and softness. I've used this ever since and couldn't be happier!!! :) Love it!

Jergens Natural Glow Revitalizing Daily Moisturizer
The first of it's kind on the market and still the best.
For a gradual tanner...this is the one to turn to. It was the first one on the market (what...two years ago???), and is still definately the best out there. I love that it comes in three shades, so you're sure to find the right one for your skin tone. It also glides on really smoothly...just like your favorite body lotion and has a tiny bit of shimmer to it making an impact right away. The cons are the chemically-smelling DHA and the dry down time before you can get into your clothes...but I love the way it works gradually (about 7 applications gives you the right color), because I HATE self-tanner mistakes and streaks. If you're afraid to give in to a full-on self tanner...this is the one to try!

I love this cream. You only need a tiny bit for both eyes. Use the friendly little pump to get a bit on your ring fingers, then just smooth around your eye following your bony structure. The eye wicks in the moisture it needs. I've had bad dark circles under my fair skinned eyes for as long as I can remember looking in the mirror. Then a beautician told me that using too much cream and moisturizers in the eye area can CAUSE this!!! Can you believe it! Since then I've been only putting creams on the outside of my eyes (never on the lids, etc.) and the circles have diminished! Cool, huh? Anyway, this is cream has a great consistency and is keeping my eyes soft and wrinkle free. I'm only giving it an 8 because it doesn't have an SPF and takes a little too long to sink in...making it perfect for night use...but a little too intense for day.

I just bought this at 50% off at my friendly neighborhood CVS last week. My cuticles aren't horrible...but I handle paper all day so they weren't looking great, either. Also, my nails had been stained a little bit from a too-dark polish that seaped through a not-good-enough base coat. Anyway, I didn't buy this because it's on sale, I bought it because of its claims and I generally like Sally Hansen products. It actually does what it says it will do!!! How exciting! It is a dry-ish, grey, grainy creme. You don't need too much...jsut dab a tiny dot on the bed of each nail. Then rub. It has a nice exfoliating feel. After a minute of scrubbing, just rinse your hands well. Mine looked awesome afterwards. Cuticles that were ragged were smooth. Cuticles that had attached to my nails were back where they were supposed to be. My nails weren't nearly as badly stained, and they were nicely buffed. It was almost like using a buffer on them. I later applied a base-coat, polish and top coat and my mani lasted longer than usual. I now keep this at my sink to use regularly. If it did that in one use...just imagine!!!

I love these. I wear them almost daily. I have thinnish, super-straight long hair. I like to wear these alone (with a little teasing just behind them to give me nice volume) or with a pony using Goody's rubberbands. They're sleak and don't call attention to themselves, making them a great way to get through the day at work with your hair out of your face. They don't slip and slide like a lot of other ones I've tried. Keeps my hair at bay until I want to take it off.

I like a lot of L'Oreal's products...and hate others. This makes me sad. But, this Paris Wear Infinite Quad makes me happy! :) I got it in the blue color-way. I have blue eyse and like the way blue shadows work on me, but not the frosted 80's-throwback colors. I like muted, sophisticated tones like these. I like that these come with four shadows and that the really dark color works well as a liner shade. These shadows last and don't crease...a big deal with me. For the price these are a steal. Wait for CVS to do a buy-one-get-one or something...then you'll feel like a super-shopper!!!

I recently caved for this trio while shopping. I think I was hungry. Nevermind, though...because I'm glad I got 'em! All three shades are really great and subtle. Perfect for that nude lip or for layering over my fave lippies! They all are kind of small and fit into a cute triangular clear case so you can carry all of them in your bag. I love the scent/ taste, too. Takes me back to Bonnie Bell roll-on gloss days........ ahhhhhh.....
