I was curious about this spray-on conditioner. How does that work? First, you separate your hair into four sections then spray each liberally. Finally, you work the conditioner through your curls. The minty scent and spray bottle left a lot to be desired. I felt like I was wasting product with each spritz. Overall, the product worked fine. It just felt like a lot of work to get my curls properly conditioned.

My curls are sublime with this cream, but only on wash day. One night of sleeping on my curls leaves them all whacked out. I prefer to shampoo every other day to prevent drying out my colored tresses. I’ll need to keep looking for a curl cream that can stand up to two days of styling.

The VF Curl Moisture Spray was the star product in my tryout of the Vernon Francois curl line. I used this spray in a few different ways. First, I replaced my usual hair serum. The light formula didn’t weigh my hair down. Second, I spritzed on my dry curls to revive slept-on hair. Third, I used it to defrizz on a particularly rainy day. The spray lived up to every challenge! My only complaint is that I’d like the spray to be more of a mist than a stream.

I used the VF Curl Shampoo in conjunction with the disappointing spray-on Curl Conditioner and followed with the Curl Moisture Spray. The shampoo had a nice lather and scent. At the end of the day, though, my curls felt flat and overconditioned.

This smoothie overpowered my medium-weight curls. My flat hair smelled delicious, but I’d rather have some bounce and body.

The scent of this rich shampoo is a heady mix of coconut and a day in the Maui sunshine. The thick lather is surprising for a product that boasts it’s silicone free. My hair felt clean and moisturized after.

I don’t blow out my curls often, so when I do, I need a product that works. The Moroccan Oil concentrate made the finished result worth all the work. A couple of pumps on damp hair helped tame my hair while drying. For day 2, I worked a small amount into the ends to smooth out the frizz.

I flip for any product that brings my slept-on curls back to life. The Moroccan Oil Re-energizing Spray did just that—re-energized my hair. Flat curls plumped back to life, and the frizz disappeared. I was even complemented on the scent of my revitalized hair.

My first try with a cleansing conditioner left me feeling flat. I’m a devotee of the Moroccan Oil line and use the Moisture shampoo and conditioner. I was hoping to skip a step with the cleansing conditioner. The foam worked well into my wet curls and left my hair feeling mostly conditioned. However, my hair felt flat all day. I’ve tried it a few times now, with no better results.

I’m always cautious when glosses come in a gimmicky package. I want a tube and a wand I can use to scrape up every bit of color with. The pen packaging serves up the product really well—lots of gloss with each pen click. However, the super-sheer Ballet Blush didn’t have enough kick to make me want to click more.
