This review is actually for the Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Makeup Stick. I used to wear Lancôme years ago (Dual Finish). I can't remember why I stopped. Anyway, my skin has been changing due to time (I'm now 43), and what I was using didn't work anymore. I tried many drugstore foundations with no success. I am fair and have combination skin and I'm prone to dry patches. I'm beginning to get fine lines and I also have an issue with large pores. Plus, matching my skin tone is a challenge. I either get it too "white" or too "orange". I accessed that cream foundation might be best for me but worried about it making my skin oily. I came across this makeup stick and tried it out in the store. I was impressed so I bought some. When I got it home I used it with primer and setting powder and it looked better than it did when I was in the store. To note: I apply it with a brush. This seems to give me the best result. I've been using it for almost two weeks and have not had any issues with breakouts or oily skin. My face is looking better than it has in a long time. In fact, I get excited now when I put on my makeup. I really like the dewy, youthful look it gives me. I WILL be buying this again. And again and again. Good stuff! (PS I am giving this a 9 instead of a 10 because, as it's still new, I don't know how long the stick will last me. At $42, this is important to me.)

I just reviewed the shampoo for Suave Keratin, and the review for the conditioner is the same. I should have been more specific in my review about the system, as I cannot use one without the other. Below is my review for the shampoo: "My hair is pretty thick and quite unruly. It takes me quite a long time to blow-dry my hair, then I use a flat iron. This [system] seems to cut down the frizz a bit that sometimes I can skip the flat iron if I'm in a hurry. That's not something I would normally do when I used other [products] like Pantene, Garnier Fructis, et al. Also, when I allow my hair to air dry, my hair doesn't "frizz out" like it used to do. Bonus- I really like the scent."

I love this soap. Let me be clear- I LOVE this soap. Well, the English Lavender scent. I have yet to try any other, for lavender is one of my favorite scents. I stopped using bar soap many years ago because of the film it seemed to leave on my skin. After trying a plethora of different bath gels, on a whim I decided to give this a try. If it's good enough for Marilyn Monroe, it's good enough for me, right? Yardley's is amazingly moisturizing on my dry skin yet doesn't leave any residue like the others. I've even ditched my shaving cream and have been using this instead. Perhaps one day I'll try the other scents... but it may be a long way off because this soap seems to last for quite a while.
