I loved that this pump was very tight - I wasn't wasting product or accidentally spraying my husband. I also liked that the product had little to no odor. I don't need my hair products to compete with my perfume. And it did perform well - if my hair was already in top shape. If my hair was the least bit frizzy or dry, it was totally absorbed and didn't add any additional shine at all. If your hair is in top shape already, then this does add a nice shine. If you are expecting it to do something, it won't. It's not to be confused with a treatment in any way. I'd prefer a product that did both (i.e., offer treatment + shine together). (Full disclosure - I was offered the product by Total Beauty to review.)

I am not a big fan of mineral shadows in general - too messy. But these are packaged well and the performance, just like any product from TheBalm, is fantastic. I have all four colors. They are highly pigmented and have a great texture. There is enough shimmer to give the colors depth, but not enough to keep me from wearing them on workdays. I've even bought back-ups!

If the foam applicator really worked, then I'd have been excited. But it really didn't dispense product well, and if I need to fight with the dispenser, then it really cancels out any improvement in messiness. Color was OK but nothing special.

Let's see, the price per liner is fantastic, there are exclusive colors AND it's just one of the two or three best eyeliners on the market. How could anyone not order at least one set? Even if you're not a UD junkie, if you could use a few new eyeliners, then just buy this and stop shopping.

Lush gives you one tin free when you buy two shampoo bars. So, fine, store a bar in it. But beware that if you use it in the shower, you will have to scrape it out from the tin when you use it next. I've designed this complicated routine for propping the bar up just a bit so that it doesn't fall to the middle of the tin and get stuck there. A typical soap dish that drains would be better.

I thought that Urban Decay and Too Faced had command of the market, but I was surprised to find that Smashbox's lid primer works pretty well, too. I don't like the texture quite as much, but it did a great job for more than 10 hours. I'm not positive I'd buy it by itself, but I would definitely purchase a kit that included it and consider it part of the value rather than more of a throwaway item.

These little tubs of hand cream are wonderful. Not too greasy and not too light, and just the right size to put in your desk drawer, your work bag, your purse, etc. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but I tend to buy them with sets or get them as part of GWPs so I can't complain. They aren't sufficient for the winter time for someone who washes her hands a lot (like if you have a newborn) but for almost every other situation, this cream is all you need.

This is absolutely one of the top primers on the market (tied with Too Faced Shadow Insurance). I was using another brand for a few weeks, as I had received a deluxe sample. Then I switched back and - wow - from the time I put it on until I take it off, my shadow looks great. I had forgotten how wonderful it is not to have to touch up during the day. Love having various colors to try, too. People may talk about it as a splurge, but it's not - it saves you from having to go through twice as much shadow and liner!

Even though I need to keep it on for 15 minutes to deal with some grays, I love this stuff. The color range is fantastic (they added more in the past few months) and it's easy to apply. I don't quite get enough for my medium-length, thick hair. That's my only ding. The odor is slight - much less than a lot of other similar products - and I've never experienced any reaction to it.

This definitely maintained my eyes - no new lines while I was using it - but there are a lot of products on the market that can do that. This claims to do more, but it doesn't. Plus, I get annoyed. I've bought three tubs over the years (my sister's an Avon rep) but each time, I wind up finishing one portion before the other. That just makes me feel like I can't follow directions - but I believe it's probably because the consistency and texture of the two formulae are very different.
