I've explored a wide range of moisturizers for my oil skin - from drug store to department store - and I've now found a lotion that hydrates just enough without making my face even more shiny. I like the light texture and my husband noticed the light fragrance, which he likes. I only have to use a little (one pump), so that is another bonus.

Moroccanoil Treatment Original

Helps me streighten my curly, curly hair

I have bee fighting my natural curl for as long as I can remember. I have tried countless products - and have just found the miracle I've been looking for. I "cocktail" this with Pureology Nana Glaze (my stylist's suggestion) and it reduces the amount of time I blow dry and makes straightening with an iron much faster/easier. I use very little - which helps justify the price. I can't tell you how much of a help it has been in humid weather - what a find.

Estee Lauder Double Matte Oil-Control Pressed Powder

Stops shine in its tracks

I like this product - works great for my oily skin. Doesn't seem to cake on my fine lines, which is another plus. I also like that the compact is a bit bigger than others - so that it takes fewer "swipes" with the pad to power my face. Its a keeper.

Estee Lauder Automatic Eye Pencil Refill

Stays on all day - even on oily lids

I like this pencil - it is easy to apply and it doesn't "bleed" on to my eye lid or lower lash line. I wish that there was a color between walnut and black, that would be my only complaint - that the walnut is not as dark of a brown as I would like.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light

Works well for oily complexion

I will consider this product a staple in my makeup routine. Immediately after I apply the primer - I notice that my skin goes from shiny to matte. I'm very happy with the results. I don't expect a product to control shine for a full day, and this product doesn't, but I do get a bit farther through the morning than if I didn't use the product to control shine. It does help with foundation application, too.

Drying

How did I end up with oily skin but dry lips? I'll never know, but one thing that I do know is that this lipstick made my dry lips feel even drier. I had to constantly reapply as it didn't last as long as I had expected. I would say that drug store brands had longer staying ower than this product. A disappointment.

Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer

Didn't work for me

I have oily skin and I'm shinny minutes after powerdering. I never had any success with this product - it didn't seems to cover my dark circles nor my blemishes. It is an average product that doesn't seems to be worth the price charged. Average, at best.

SkinCeuticals Eye Renewal Gel

Will be a staple in my evening kit.

At this stage of the game, I'm in my late 30's, I hope to maintain my appearance - reversing seems too much to ask for. However, this product exceeded my expectations. I have melia (like another reviewer) so I have to be careful with creams/lotions around the eyes, as they make the situation worse. I have seen a difference in melia and the lines that are starting to develop (crow's feet, sigh). The only thing that I can suggest is that this product be paired with a lotion/cream as the instructions advise using this near the inner eye. Read the literature well.

Great, even for sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin - to fragrance, the environment, chemicals - you name it. I love this wash. I use it every morning and haven't had an issue. As I age, I'm in my 30s, I learn more and more than I should expect uneven skin tone - so I'm using this to combat that issue. The beads are small enough to evenly distribute throughout my skin (as I massage the cleanser) unlike some drugstore brands that are difficult to move with my fingers. I use just a small amount - so economically I can stretch it a bit and make it last.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer

Has staying power

I have used many drugstore brands and a few luxury brands of concealer - this is probably one that I will continue to use. It is easy to apply, the color is appropriate for my skin tone (fair), and it does live up to the reputation of "stay-in-place." If you have dark circles, like me, it probably won't completely hide them - just disguise them a bit.
