I like it because it washes off. It's cheap and works fine. Not any worse or better than the expensive stuff.

It is not so natural. It received a moderate toxicity rating on Skin Deep. Natural and organic don't mean it's so. Look at the ingredients.

There are websites that you can go to check out toxicity ratings. Skin Deep is a good one. Avon has products that are some of the greatest offenders. Watch what you put on your skin. It's the largest organ of your body and absorbs it all into your system.

There is a lot more to hair coloring than what you read on the back of a box! Want a mess? Keep putting this stuff on top of old color. You get fried, dried up hair. You get what you pay for.

This stuff works very well. However, when it was sold to Loreal it appears to have changed. It always seems to happen when a successful product line is sold to a major corporation. They try to make it even more profitable and the quality goes down. Part of the selling point was that it contained no water other than what was in the botanicals, so it lasted a very long time. It appears to be not as thick, so it looks like water has been added to it. It has no sulfates, DEA, or MEA. Sulfates pull color out of the hair, so if you are using shampoo with sodium laurel sulfate your color will fade faster. One worry is that it contains phalates. Phalates have been found in womens' breast tissue. It's best to stay away from products with phalates. Loreal should have them removed.
